Roland Martin on CNN: Sarah Palin is the 'Kim Kardashian of Politics'

By Matthew Balan | November 13, 2010 | 18:13

Roland Martin brought his full-blown Palin Derangement Syndrome to Friday's Anderson Cooper 360, labeling the former Alaska governor "the Kim Kardashian of politics." Martin continued that Palin is "making a ton of money. We're trying to figure out why. It's the same as Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton....She quit her job because she wanted to go out and be a celebrity."

The CNN contributor actually first tried out his questionable label of the Tea Party favorite on his Twitter account. At 5:12 pm on November 9, Martin posted the following Tweet: "Palin slammed then-Sen. Obama as a celebrity in 2008 campaign, and she's more of a celebrity because she doesn't hold office." Mind you, at that time, Palin was Alaska's governor and the Republican vice presidential candidate, but the liberal continued by complaining in a second Tweet that "the media goes ga ga over whatever she says. Palin is often wrong. She's a former governor who quit her job rather than tough it out." During his third Tweet, Martin added, "She holds no position; wants no accountability; and wants to sling arrows and then gets angry when called on the carpet 4 her nonsense." The CNN personality completed his rant by comparing the Republican to the curvy celebrity most infamous for making a pornographic video: "At the end of the day, Sarah Palin is the Kim Kardashian of Politics. She's a celebrity with no real purpose other than picking up a check."

No real purpose, Roland? The morning after the midterm election earlier this month, your network's own John Roberts pointed out that Palin "had a lot of candidates that she backed and a lot of them won....five in the Senate, 14 in Congress, six governors, three other. She's a force...in politics." Just before he went on AC360, the CNN contributor posted another Tweet where he gave a hint about his intentions: "Up next on CNN. Bringing the fiya (sic) on Sarah Palin!"

Before introducing Martin and his other panelist, Republican Alex Castellanos, just after the bottom of the 10 pm Eastern hour, Cooper played an excerpt from Palin's upcoming TLC series and noted that "Palin's camp, TLC called [it] a 'docudrama.' Karl Rove dismissed it as a reality show, saying it hurts her chances for the White House- it's basically beneath a serious candidate for the White House. But it could actually help her." He turned to Castellanos and asked, "Alex, I mean, it seems like a great advantage for an undeclared candidate, or for anyone, to have this kind of a platform to basically define their image."

The Republican strategist actually agreed with Martin to a point about the former governor's celebrity:

CASTELLANOS: In some ways, it may, but- you know, there was just a recent CNN survey, Anderson, that had Sarah Palin running nearly ten points behind Barack Obama, while Mitt Romney was running nearly double digits ahead, while Huckabee was running ahead, and this is Barack Obama at his weakest point. He's just lost 60 seats and lost independents in an election. If you can't pull ahead of Obama now, he's only going to get stronger and tougher over the next year. Why is that? One reason may be that she's becoming- Sarah Palin's becoming more of a celebrity than a leader.

COOPER: And that's something she attacked candidate Obama for during the campaign, as I recall....

CASTELLANOS: Isn't that stunning? Remember the McCain ad where- you know, Barack Obama's as big a celebrity is Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, but is he ready to lead? You could make that same ad today against Sarah Palin.

Martin then chimed in with his Kim Kardashian label of Palin. Cooper actually rebuked him for it, while Castellanos came to the former governor's defense:

MARTIN: Absolutely, Anderson. It's hilarious. She is the Kim Kardashian of politics, okay? (Castellanos laughs)

COOPER: Oh, come on now!

MARTIN: It is- no, seriously! Okay?

CASTELLANOS: Better figure-

MARTIN: She's makes a ton of money. We're trying to- she making a ton of money. We're trying to figure out why. It's the same as Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton-

COOPER: She has held public office. Kim Kardashian- I don't know- has ever- has she ever held a job? I mean, Sarah Palin has.

MARTIN: No, right- she's held- Anderson, she's held public office, and she quit. She quit her job because she wanted to go out and be a celebrity. Let's just go ahead and put it out there. Look, the Gallup-

COOPER: I think it's a little unfair to call- to compare her to Kim Kardashian, but- go ahead.

MARTIN: Fine. But the bottom line is- okay, whatever, but the bottom line is here- we do know she quit- that's factually correct- she didn't serve her whole term- but here's the other piece, okay? The Gallup poll came out today. Her unfavorable rating is 52 percent. Her favorable rating is 40 percent, the lowest it's ever been. So, yeah, there's a strong concentrated group of people on the Republican side who really love and adore Sarah Palin. But when Karl Rove and other Republicans- even Alex- he danced around it, but even he knows- at the end of the day, Sarah Palin would be absolutely a disaster for the Democratic Party (sic), and Paul Begala is at home right now saying, 'Please nominate Sarah Palin as their nominee.'

CASTELLANOS: I think Roland meant the Republican Party. I'm not sure that any show with Sarah Palin is something that you can call a reality show, because it's- you know, she's had an unreal life- you know, from third-place finisher in the Miss Alaska pageant to governor of Alaska, running for vice president, and now, a celebrity. But she-

MARTIN: That's reality show TV (laughs)-

CASTELLANOS: She does have a tremendous amount of political power. She's created, this past year, the Republican feminist movement- you know, inspiring a lot of women: 'Hey, we can't leave our children with less opportunity and more debt than we have.' She does have enough power to raise money and help get candidates through primaries, but she's the biggest fish in a small pond. Once she gets to the big pond, she loses a lot of her political leverage. I don't think she'll run for president.

COOPER: You don't think she will?

MARTIN: I agree.

COOPER: You both agree?

MARTIN: No, I agree- no, I agree. Look, she said on Fox News with Chris Wallace- she really has no accountability when it comes to making her comments on Twitter and Facebook. She can do whatever she wants. Let's be honest. We're sitting here right now talking about somebody who quit their political job and saying, 'Oh, they might run for president one day.' And so, she's feasting off of all the free publicity. I don't think for a second she runs, because the moment she runs, when she's in that first Republican debate on stage with nine or ten other candidates, she can't just say, 'You betcha.' She can't dance her way around it-

COOPER: But if she doesn't-

MARTIN: They'll pin her down on policy.

Later, Castellanos pointed out Palin's influence on the midterm election:

COOPER: If she doesn't run then and- you know, then someone else comes to the fore, what does she do? Does she just go out, continue going out doing books, campaigning, picking candidates?

CASTELLANOS: She does what she did this year. She went in and really helped John McCain get through a primary. She helped Tea Party candidates all over the country energize their campaigns. She holds the Republican Party accountable for less spending, less debt, and to reduce the size of government, and that's a tremendous amount of power within the Republican Party- no doubt about that. But- you know, you don't always have to run for president to have an influence on the direction of the country.

Story Continues Below Ad ↓

Martin gave a parting shot at his foe with a snark at the end of the segment:

MARTIN: She remains a celebrity- simple as that. So, sorry for insulting Kim Kardashian- my bad, I'm sorry. (both Martin and Castellanos laugh)

COOPER: I wasn't saying you were insulting Kim Kardashian. I was saying I thought you were insulting Sarah Palin-

MARTIN: No! I'm just- come on!

COOPER: But just for clarity's sake.

MARTIN: It's late on a Friday, Anderson! (both Martin and Cooper laugh)

The contributor was so proud of bringing his well-rehearsed label of Palin to CNN that he bragged about it on Twitter after the segment: "Yes, quote me correctly. I did say on CNN's Anderson Cooper that Sarah Palin is the Kim Kardashian of politics. Rebroadcast at 11 pm est!" The next morning, Martin continued his self-marveling: "Sarah Palin is the Kim Kardashian of Politics. A created celebrity who makes money for no reason whatsoever!" He also continued the attack on the Republican: "@sarahpalinusa needs to apologize to America for calling Obama a celebrity since she's one." Actually, one could come to the conclusion that Roland Martin owes Sarah Palin an apology for comparing her to a porn star.

Yep, the correlation is unfair, but is probably more right than wrong.  Palin did quit her job, makes 20 million, throws bombs, and whines when she is called out.  Frankly, I am growing sick of her.  Her money grab disgusts me, and so does her show.  That's not public service, and I don't think she has earned a right to be a power broker.  Finally, her constant comparing herself to Reagan makes me want to hurl.

She will never announce, cause during the primary she will get brutalized by her own fellow republicans.   She will never win a general either.

She is in the position that she is in precisely because she represents an entire swath of this nation who is tired of seeing Liberal special interests run rough shod over the Constitution and publicly destroy anyone who gets in their way.  Palin is popular because unlike most Republicans who roll over and play dead when the Liberals attack them, Palin gets right back up .

She may not be the most intelligent person in the world, but for a dumb person, Pain seems to know more about the Constitution being a limiting document than most politicians from the left and right.

Did you bother to note that it was far more than the smartest man in the world - no! The Universe! brought over the finish line. Or even his Marie-Antoinette wife? Did you bother to note which party Palin and the TEA Party people supported and which party WON over 600 seats - partly because of that idiot Palin and her whining about stupid stuff like, oh, God, guns, American oil, no illegal immigration, strong defense, less government, less taxes and less abortion?

Or is it just that you knee-jerk like the other Liberal Progressives and start spasms and foam when Palin's name is mentioned?

how the libs conveniently forget that Palin said she quit as Governor of Alaska because the state was being forced to pay to defend her against a multitude of specious law suits and she didn't believe that it was the right way to spend the taxpayer's money.

And before the trolls arrive to claim that there's no reason to believe what she said in her book, I'll ask: why should anyone believe you?

Where does it say ...?

Submitted by KC Mulville on Sat, 11/13/2010 - 6:50pm.

Where does it say that you have to be an elected official to influence politics?

That's not to diminish the importance of elected officials. Obviously they're at the center of politics, because they cast the votes. But so much of politics these days is outside the boundary of official government. It is reasonable to argue that Karl Rove or James Carville has more influence than a freshman Congressman from Kansas. It's not unreasonable to argue that Sarah Palin might have more influence now than had she stayed in Alaska.

That having been said, I agree that Palin should have stayed in office. I'm one of those old fashioned people who believe that when the voters of Alaska sent her to become governor, it was because they wanted things done that she promised to do, not because it was a favor to her personally. It wasn't something she could ignore just because she wanted greater influence. The only acceptable argument for her leaving early was if her celebrity was interfering with her ability to do the job, which I don't buy. I do count that as a stroke against her.

Quitting or retreating, regrouping, attacking and making the libs nuts.  Do you really think that she  did the wrong thing for anyone other than a lib?

Maybe, but

Submitted by KC Mulville on Sun, 11/14/2010 - 4:06am.

I don't buy that she was bogged down by malicious nuisance lawsuits. Why not? Because she's much more influential now than she was as governor, but she isn't being slowed down by any lawsuits now. You'd assume that if they had any credible lawsuits to bring, surely they'd use it against her now. But they aren't. (None that I know of, anyway. I welcome correction if I'm wrong about this, and they are throwing nuisance lawsuits against her now.) But since they don't have any lawsuits against her now, that leads me to suspect that they didn't have any credible threats of lawsuits then, either.

Personally, I like Sarah Palin, and I certainly like what she stands for. But that doesn't mean I think she'd be a great president. There are a lot of conservatives who I like and respect, but I don't think would make a great president ... myself included.

But I think that the point on the lawsuits,  I believe it was more along the lines of ethics allegations.  The point being that, ethics allegations don't mean anything when you are a civilian.    As a civilian you have legal tools to counter punch anyone who brings false allegation against you.  But as a public employee, every allegation has to be investigated, and there isn't much you can do except keep fighting those allegations.  As a civilian, people can bring false lawsuits against you, but in normal cases it has to have some legal justification.  And as a civilian, you have the ability to counter sue.

Submitted by stratman on Mon, 11/15/2010 - 2:15am.

Palin was getting into a great deal of debt in that it was her own personal monies being used to defend herself of multiple scurilous charges.

Then there were (and continue) vile personal attacks against Palin, her husband, and her children.  The lows of the Left are seemingly bottomless.

So, Palin quit.  No one likes quitting or a quitter.  But there are mitigating circumstances which may modify one's conclusions.  Palin's circumstances were extraordinary.  The result was a tactical retreat that proved winning.

At this point, Palin is one of the rarities in Conservative politics.  If one considers the Left and the MSM as fecal material, then Sarah Palin has learned how to pick up the "clean" end of the turd.  Palin simple out maneuvers the Left, her strength and influence blossoming while the Left swirl increasingly more desperate and pathetic.

There is no Conservative at this moment with greater influence than Palin, which is why the Left fear and attack her so dissproportionately.  Just as we have complained the squishy Right, MSM, and Left manipulated McCain into the presidential candidacy, we should recognize they did they same job bringing Sarah Palin to such natioanl consciousness by keeping her front and center.  It's like the Left's moth to the Palin flame.

ZZZZZZZTTTT!!!  Flame neutralizes moth.

Yes, Liberals. She's dumb. REALLY dumb. So let's all ignore her. Why, look over there! Hope and Change and all its wonders! Go run and see it! Bye!

Lest we forget

Submitted by talkradio55 on Sat, 11/13/2010 - 7:30pm.

Sarah Palin became of national prominence because she rose through the ranks as a popular mayor and governor. She was loved by her community and had high approval ratings. She fought corruption and got things done in her position. She took firm stands and was a true reformer.

Contrast that with Obama who came to prominence because when running for office, he systematically got all of his primary contenders thrown off the ballot. He had his media cronies unseal divorce records (a blatant violation of law if I'm not mistaken) and destroy good viable contenders when it was too late to replace them. When he got into office, he voted "present", refusing to take a stand on anything. His entire life story is what I like to call a "fraudulent narrative". His real life story was rewritten in order to take an angry, bitter, morally depraved person and turn him into an intellectual giant. Supress any evidence that he is not a Harvard genius. Gloss over his lack of a resume, lie, smear, and slander any detractors. They had to rewrite his life so a boy raised and mentored by Communists and politically motivated by Saul Alinsky (a radical who dedicated a book to Satan) and who was influenced by racists (Jeremiah Wright) and anti-American terrorism (Bill Ayers) could look like a patriotic, everyman who sympathized with the "folks" as O'Reilly calls us. In reality, he is a cold, bitter, angry person whose intellect is vastly overstated.

...tired old, sexist remarks.  It's not okay to be racist anymore so all those who are predisposed to doing so can now jump on the sexist pig bandwagon.  I thought this argument was over in the 1970s.

The only thing Sarah Palin really lacks to qualify as presdient to these troglodytes is that 'certain part' of the male body.

There is no place for sexism in the 21st Century (except in the dhimmocrat party).

The obsession with Palin is hilarious

Submitted by sam12663 on Sat, 11/13/2010 - 8:01pm.

Sarah Palin is one smart cookie. She has no interest in running for President, now, or in the future. Her mere prescence on the scene drives liberals crazy. They are like rabid dogs, so worked up they can't think straight. Palin is just loving this! She is playing these clowns for all its worth; knowing that the more they attack her, the more they expose themselves for who they truly are.

She will do more good for the Republican party, and for America, by staying the course, taking the flak, rallying the citizenery, and continuing to expose the Democrats for what they stand for.

Liberals lie, it's what they do.

ROLAND MARTIN IS WRONG

Submitted by dadinleftfield.com on Sat, 11/13/2010 - 9:39pm.

Kim Karsdashian doesn't have the power to hamstring the Republican Senate like Palin just did.  She blew it for every conservative in America, costing Republicans 2-3 CRITICAL U.S. Senate seats.  She is more of an enemy to conservatives than Ralph Nader was to libs in 2000.

I was initially a fan, but as I listened to her I had to come clean:  Palin is good for nothing more than a drunk roll in the hay.  If you are even a little bit smart, and a little bit honest with yourself, you will be forced to the same conclusion.  I like her, but she is a millstone.

When the unauthorized Todd and Sarah sextape is released, we'll know she has officially jumped the shark and is headed for the French Riviera.

In the end, big propers and shout outs to Sarah for riding this gravytrain all the way to the bank.

Read your history

Submitted by nkviking75 on Sat, 11/13/2010 - 10:04pm.

Dad:  "...power switch parties almost every election cycle. "

Check your history, Dad.  When the GOP took the House in the 1994 election, the Democrats had held that chamber for 40 years.  During that same period, the Dems controlled the Senate most of the time.  Historically the party in power does tend to lose seats in the midterm elections, but a shift like the one that just happened is far from commonplace.

The Republicans had a very tall task to gain 10 seats in the Senate and take control.  The seats that they didn't win were in deep blue states.  And Palin endorsed a lot of people, so it was inevitable that some would lose.

Your claim that you were once a Palin fan lacks credibility when you make comments about "a roll in the hay" and "sex tapes".

The Right have done a masterful job rewriting Raygun's bio, but we now know his policies have destroyed our middle class.  We also know now, that regarding the fall of the USSR, he just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Democrats lie.  If you have not learned that the Democrats built a Great big machine for lying under Woodrow Wilson by now I guess you will never mature to that level.  They had 76,000 people working in it at one point.

Reagan never turned out the mentally ill.

The only one who suggested that Catsup be listed as a vegetable on School Lunch menus was every Democrats’ favorite David Stockman.

Valerie Plane was outed as a CIA agent by the US State Department to NBC's "Meet the Press" who then told 'Scooter' Libby to frame him.

In 1964 the DNC kept Barry Goldwater off of some ballots by claiming he was not a natural born citizen despite a perfectly valid birth certificate from the Arizona territory and a Supreme Court decision validating his natural birth.   Talk about your birthers!!!

Whole books are in the libraries cataloging the political lies of Democrats but since I am a Gore on my mother side I forget which I have from public sources and which I heard from bragging cousins who made up the lies before I came out as a Republican in my twenties.

Majority change in the House, Senate, or Congress as a whole has NOT been frequent at all since 1950.   In fact, compared to the first century and a half of the present Republic, it has been much less frequent.  The House of Representatives has changed hands exactly 3 times since 1950: 1994, 2006 and 2010.  The Democrats have controlled the House of Representatives for all but 14 of the last 80 years.

What about cajun and I?---

Submitted by matthewdean on Sun, 11/14/2010 - 2:24am.

You, dadinleftfield, are the one who showed up venting your Palin Derangement Syndrome and displaying your ignorance by acting like all conservatives favor Palin.

cajun merely advised you to be careful, and you throw out your piss bravado about cajun not having anonymity.

No one at NBs uses fouler language than I do, and I'm telling you straight out that the filth you have already used in your posts on this thread alone far outweigh anything I have used or seen used around here before.

As far as "my type", lefty ---

I am the type of conservative who tells smart mouthed ass munchers like you that when you start slinging crap without provocation, as you have excelled at here, and then try to act out a role in the "they started it" scene, that it ain't gonna fly.

You are a leftist liberal troll, who will likely be banned for having a foul mouth long before you have a chance to show off your long legged but worthless liberal BS talking points.

I wil make sure that your epitaph reads "Freudian Flamer - Flicker of Filth".

I showed up here respondong

Submitted by dadinleftfield.com on Sun, 11/14/2010 - 3:39am.

I showed up here responding to a news story.

I thought that was welcomed here.

It is a ".org" and everything.

Matthew Dean advises me that:   "cajun merely advised you to be careful, and you throw out your piss bravado about cajun not having anonymity."

In reality, (and before I had ever uttered a squeak to him) cajun2 said verbatim, the following:

'"The true identity of chose is for you to learn the hard way. I will give you a hint of what you are headed into...CHOSELIFE4X is a combination of......Sally Ride +EmmyLou Harris + Sarah Palin.......Be afraid, be very afraid little sto' bought troll"

Matthew no doubt wishes that "cajun merely advised you to be careful" but regrettably, cajun2 did NOT, and instead chose to threaten me with "hints" that I should be very afraid.

Matt, u and the cajun and I are off to a rough start, but that isn't to say we can;t still find some common ground, my brotha man.  Let's all pray on it in church tomorrow, deal?

Your elitist snobbery made you believe that no one at the site would be intelligent enough to debate with you. Chose and others are more than capable. As soon as you learned this disturbring fact is when you started with the obcenities, insults, ALL CAPS.

We have seen your kind here before promising debate with a different pov. Alas, as usual, all we get is lies, lib talking points, insults. All you seem to present is the usualy lib talk propaganda as evidenced by you using the current lib theme, calling me a punk bitch.

I was willing to debate issues but it seems that you may be one of those released too soon from the Cali loony bins and any attempt at rational discourse would be pointless.

Lib troll give themselves away immediately. They always throw insults as soon as their talking points make no headway. Like all trolls that come to NB,they think this website is unindated with ignorant racists. Throw facts at them, point out the lies, and out comes the insults. The insults are usually an indication of the limited education and vocabulary. Unable to engage in debate due to lack of education or the latest email from rightwingwatch, they immediately resort to offensive remarks. As long as the troll has an accepting audience, the lies are cheered and any dissenting opinions are immediately rejected. So much for tolerance and intellectual discourse. This one that appears "out of left field" sounds like a sto' bought troll to me since his rant is currently the weeks talking points at rightwingwatch.

Come on, man.  You sure as hell know that Reagan was a governor and famous before he ever ran for president.

Obama is the opposite.  The dude was plucked out of obscurity.  One day he's helping crack heads fill out claim forms and the next he's a pop star.

The Democrat money men wanted the human embodiment of everything they try to sell to people.  So they set out to find the most exotic Ivy League educated black guy they could find.   The guy was a clean slate, easily molded in the public eye into whatever they wanted.  He had no political record, no baggage.  With clever marketing techniques and lots of propaganda he became "yes we can."  He became the Obamessiah.   People would focus on the exotic background instead of focusing on his brains... what really mattered.

Just like with many pop stars... Obama is a one hit wonder.  His voice sucks.  He doesn't really have talent.  There was nothing of substance there.   It was all an illusion.

AND NOW FOR.....THE REST OF THE STORY

Submitted by dadinleftfield.com on Sun, 11/14/2010 - 12:14am.

If you're reading this, maybe, hopefully, you can understand how a person like me might like to spend a couple of hours stirring the shit on this site.  Afterall, you're here with me.

Or maybe you don't understand  me at all and consider me to be a sick fuck.  Either way, que sera' sera'

This is a good site, btw.

The truth of the matter is, as much as I try to stay pissed-off, I am more Jon Stewart than Rachel Maddow.  I love ALL of my fellow Americans, and I hope we can find a way to stop viewing everything in the Universe through this Left-Right prism.  I  am MORE guilty than most of doing this, and I really don't know how to stop at this point, but I believe that we can ALL agree that:

We all want peace in the world.

We all want the U.S.A. to prosper.  Really, even BHO doesn't want to see our nation collapse.

The U.S.A. is a pretty dang cool country.

leftfield, you want to see

Submitted by ConservativeRex on Sun, 11/14/2010 - 1:37am.

leftfield, you want to see Palin the GOP nomination? That's funny because I am doing everything i can, including working with a local radio station, to get Shelia Jackson Lee as the Congressional minority leader!  So far, this idiot has bought it and wants it!  I hope she gets it.

There would be nothing funnier in politics then to see SJL in front of the cameras and at the mic every single day talking up you moron democrats.  She actually has a better chance of being minority leader then Sarah has of winning the nomination (although I would like to see Sarah win the whole thing) .  You libs would go absolutely bat shit if that happened, and we would enjoy nothing more then to see you're head explode.

We're tough enough to survive your iman, but I don't think you're tough enough to survive Palin as president.  So you know what to do when that happens......

Excellent anology - Lee is a millstone on the Dems as Palin is on the Tea Party/Pubs.  Jackson is a drag because of her loose morals and low intellect.  Palin, perhaps just because of low intellect.  Whatever the case, both parties can do better!

I think it is better for conservatism to prevail ideologically over his kind.   We cannot ban these people at the voting both.  The hard core 20% of this country that is leftist / marxist we cannot 'convert'.  It is the 40% moderate group we must convert to conservatism.  They can be swayed by cogent refutation of trash like 'banned in left field'.  To that end he can be used as a club against his own cause.

It's not that I don't have the stomach for dealing with people like him; I like it because they're so easy to mess with.   The issue for me is diminishing returns - the longer a rabid discussion goes on the less value you get out of continuing it.  At some point going forward is just wasting time.

1. Obama's Celebrity Status.   Blame DNC and all hollywood.  They proclaimed in 2008 that OBAMA WAS REALLY A "ROCKSTAR".

... and Blame Obama coz he really enjoyed the his newly-found Celebrity status in 2008.

2.  Resignation/Quit Meme.    Blame DNC machines in Alaska now all cabinet members of Obama who designed all the "bogus complaints' vs. Palin.  Palin was technically  "BANKRUPT" when she resigned as Governor.

... and Blame Obama coz he gave his blessings to such dirty tricks.

3.  Palin's as Highly-paid Celebrity and Commentator.   Martin is an idiot.  Palin pays HIGH TAX due to her high income.  HIGH TAX means MORE MONEY contributing to solve Obama's Budget deficit.

.... and blame Obama for lacking common-sense understanding of economics.

BY THE WAY ... I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST CELEBRITIES IN POLITICS.  THEY HAVE THIS UNUSUAL TALENT OF EXPLAINING THE "SEEMING COMPLEX" POLITICAL/ECONOMIC ISSUES IN PLAIN ENGLISH TO COMMON AMERICANS!  PROOF:  B-MOVIE ACTOR/GREATEST PRESIDENT RONALDUS REAGAN!

At this point in our history, America needs "real" and honest communicator like Sarah Palin more than ever... and not fake, and arrogant TOTUS-assisted communicator Barack H. Obama.
