People in favor of 'redistribution of income' if not true socialists, are useful idiots. They don't see themselves as rich; very few people see themselves as 'rich'. They suppose that the redistribution will be from folks in a class above them, to a class below them, leaving them untouched. They can't comprehend the fact that the huge inefficiencies government always introduces will mean they have to dig deep into the middle class to fund their porky programs.

The concept of private property is deeply embedded in the United States psyche. It is a principal component of what makes America what we are. Deutsch, by his cavalier attitude toward private ownership, speaks volumes about his lack of appreciation of this fundamental concept. Moreover, he has no idea of what personal risk it places him in to suggest such an aberrant "prescription" for what ails us. Extremists often expire for their cause, and this would be no exception because there are millions of Americans who would be pleased to send Mr. Deutsch to the Great Beyond for less. 

This man is a fraud, and I wish Scarborough would've called him out on it.

I remember when Deutsch always wore a purple shirt on his failure of a television show because he liked to say, "I'm not red. I'm not blue. I am purple. I am a sane moderate." Of course, it was a lie then, and it's definitely a lie now as he admits, "I am an extremist."

The real joke is that Deutsch once went nuts when Ann Coulter said she was praying that he (a Jew) would convert to Christianity. Deutsch found it incredibly offensive that someone would pray that an individual would see things their way, yet this same man has no qualms using the force of law on other individuals to make them do things he desires.

Deutsch is missing the same thing the rest of the Leftists are -- intellectual honesty.
