Striking a different tone than the lukewarm reactions by ABC and NBC to Hillary Clinton’s DNC speech late Thursday night, CBS enthusiastically praised her “steadiness,” intro music choice of This Is My Fight Song and admitted they were “moved by how many times she said ‘strength’ and ‘together.’”

CBS and NBC's evening newscasts on Thursday hyped Chelsea Clinton's planned speech introducing her mother, Hillary Clinton, at the Democratic National Convention. CBS's Vinitia Nair played up that Clinton "uses her mother's smarts and her father's flare." Nair trumpeted that "the girl named after a Joni Mitchell song, 'Chelsea Morning,' will finally have her night." NBC's Kristen Welker also touted the presidential daughter's "strong presence on the trail," and later claimed that Clinton is "already making her own mark on history."

Opening their Thursday night coverage of the Democratic National Convention (DNC), ABC’s voice-over announcer couldn’t help but produce one last gushing pump-up video as he proclaimed “here we are” for “[t]his one historic moment in front of America” and the on-air personalities applauded Chelsea Clinton emphasizing Hillary as a grandmother.

According to Chris Matthews, Donald Trump brings out the “best” in Democrats and prompts them to show “gut patriotism” that has been hidden in the past. On Thursday, Matthews cheered, “[Trump] reminded them of what they believe in, the rights and hopes of immigrants, the freedom of religion in this country, the love of the country itself.”

In an embarrassing display of flip-flopping, ABC’s World News Tonight anchor David Muir seemingly backtracked Thursday night on a claim from two days earlier that Hillary Clinton was “still so unknown to many in this country” to more appropriately ruling that “but she knows, this is a country divided” that has “very strong opinion[s] about her already.”

MSNBC on Thursday night offered a movie trailer-style promo, complete with dramatic music and exciting visuals to tout the “united” Democrats “embracing history.” This is quite the contrast to the opening video to last week’s Republican National Convention. Kicking off the primetime coverage of the Democratic convention, an announcer intoned, “The baton has been passed... A party stands united.”

CNN earned their moniker as the Clinton News Network on Thursday as they awaited the highly anticipated speech to be delivered by Chelsea Clinton at the Democratic National. The America’s Choice 2016 panel gushed as they reminisced about Chelsea and were awe struck by her transformation from an “awkward little girl” to “a remarkable young woman.” “I sort of feel like all of us are kind of god parents of Chelsea,” stated Bill Press. For CNN Chief Political Analyst Gloria Borger there was timeless image of Chelsea she couldn’t get out of her head.

CNN has clearly favored Democrats during their convention by playing more of their pre-produced videos during its first three days than they did during the entire Republican convention. So far, the liberal network has played 16 video montages and anti-Donald Trump featurettes totaling 47 minutes and 53 minutes of air time — all during their prime time coverage (8 pm Eastern to midnight) of the political confab. By contrast, CNN only played three of the Republican convention's videos, which added up to 14 minutes and 17 seconds of air time over four nights.

Turns out liberals support voter ID after all, as long as they think it hurts “insular” people – what the lefty elite think of conservatives.

In a DNC convention interview with Politico, vulgar comedian Chelsea Handler declared that only people who care about what is going on around the world should be allowed to vote – “you shouldn’t be able to vote without a fucking passport!”

Media Research Center President Brent Bozell made his latest Fox Business Network (FBN) appearance on Thursday afternoon’s Cavuto: Coast to Coast and held little back as he called out liberal panelist Richard Fowler for his “preposterous” argument that the need to hype vocal protesters inside the Democratic National Convention (DNC) was much ado about nothing.

The Democratic National Convention would not be complete without a group of liberal Hollywood celebrities anxiously warning that humans are threatening the planet. Avatar director and eco-hypocrite James Cameron premiered his short environmental film, Not Reality TV, at the convention. In addition to blaming floods, droughts, fires, and other natural disasters on human-induced global warming, the film also criticized Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for calling global warming a “hoax.”

If Hillary Clinton is elected president she will eagerly bypass Congress if they don't pass legislation she wants and enact them via executive orders.

Hey! Who is making such a horrible slam against Hillary as power hungry to the extent of ignoring Congress? Is this just another wild charge from Donald Trump? Nope! The source of  this power abuse charge is none other than the leftwing Vox which recently featured a Hillary love fest disguised as an interview conducted by their editor-in-chief, Ezra Klein. The premature revelation of Hillary truths were made by Dara Lind who might soon find herself explaining that she didn't really mean what she wrote. And her Hillary executive power revelations come in an article appropriately subtitled, Clinton would be the first president to embrace the executive powers her predecessors built.

Pop stars are not always great political stars. Americans for Responsible Solutions - a super-PAC focused on gun control and prevention and founded by former Re. Gabby Giffords (D-Ariz.) and her husband, Mark Kelly, hosted one of several events on Tuesday during the Democratic National Convention. One of those events was a concert featuring pop singer Kesha, who used the opportunity to speak in support of gun control....with a few F-bombs.

The Democratic National Committee’s Director of Communications, Luis Miranda, is in some serious hot water over revelations of emails that show him criticizing some of the Democratic Party’s staunchest pro-amnesty allies as “irresponsible” for their position in favor of blanket refugee status for all border-crossers from Central America.

New York Times coverage of Night 3 of the Democratic National Convention could be characterized by an hour-long swoon over Barack Obama’s speech -- pardon, his “stirring valedictory address." Also, Democrats were (again!) finding their voice on gun control, Bill celebrated Hillary, TMI-style, and Frank Bruni celebrated the president as "our national poet." Reporter Maggie Haberman was smitten by an introductory video: “...it really does remind me that part of why Obama was re-elected in 2012, polls showed, was that a majority of people thought that his heart was in the right place and that he cared about people like them.”
