Loughner Friend: 'He Did Not Watch TV' or 'Listen to Political Radio'
It's become clear since Saturday that some in the media are determined to blame outspoken conservatives for the Tucson massacre. So there's really no reason to believe that yet another fact contradicting that attack will put it to rest.
But in the spirit of journalism - that thing the left's media attack dogs profess their reverence for - it should be noted: a friend of the killer, Jared Lee Loughner, told "Good Morning America" that Loughner "did not watch TV. He disliked the news. He didn’t listen to political radio. He didn’t take sides. He wasn’t on the left. He wasn’t on the right."
In other words, if this friend is to be believed, no cable news or talk radio personality drove Loughner to commit this heinous act.
That, of course, has been a frequent refrain this week. MSNBC's Contessa Brewer suggested blame for the shooting might lie with "vitriolic right-wing talkers." In searching for "angry rhetoric" that might've driven Loughner to kill, Andrea Mitchell went back five years to single out something Glenn Beck had said. Ed Schultz simply hurled blame for the shooting at the entire Fox News Channel.
All of the media handwringing over conservative talk on television and radio sidesteppped the fact that no evidence had been found (and still none has) supporting that contention. But media liberals were not about to let facts (or, in this case, the lack thereof) get in the way of smearing conservative commentators.
Maybe the words of Loughner's friend above will reinvigorate their concern for truth above political hackery.

They are so far deep into this that if they don't hold out for some small shred of evidence to surface, they know that all credibility is lost... I mean all. They are hanging their hopes on all this... Every time they are called out to provide the evidence they simply fall back on.. "Uh Uh well he was Anti-Government and the Tea-Party is too!" Which in itself is false, they are for Limited Government.
No, I suspect they will soon switch to the "Witchy Woman" defense ala Voodoo Queen Sarah somehow cast a spell on him.

I wish they would lose all credibility because of this, but the truth is that they just ignore whatever doesn't fit their narrative. I am just glad that there are resources now to get the truth out there. I know not everyone will see it, but at least it is out there so people who are honestly curious can get this information.They lost their credibility

Immediately after Sheriff Loopy's first presser where he implied talk radio, conservatives and Republicans contributed were responsible Obama did the first sensible thing since entering the WH and sent Mueller out there on the first plane. Gov. Brewer (R) found the first common ground with Obam as she didn't bat an eye, she knew the Sheriff is an idiot. It turns out he was right as we find out the conspiracy was all in Loopy's head and there were no death threats by the killer known to the Sheriff's office after he said there was in the presser. Besides one of the dead is a Federal Judge so the killer will be tried in both Federal and State courts for murder and the FBI will be assembling the evidence for the Fed trial.

But a healthy dose of the various reports I've witnessed on my other conservative blogs, as well as the MRC emails I've received describes a plot clearly not represented by those who've been accused. As a majority of the NN figures continue to decry the allegations some in the media have cast upon teaparty and Sara Palin and Rush and Beck in regards to the massacre, it has become obvious to me that conservatives are playing the victim.
And it's sad, because there are real live and dead victims lost in the debate, but in the game of politics every side is looking for a win.

So when a talking head be it news or wanna-be news gets on air and says it is not about conservative rhetoric and then goes on for several minutes about the conservative rhetoric the story is not about conservative rhetoric.
The denials fall on deaf ears when they run the story anyway besides the story is already written. Just because they couldn't come up with supporting information is no reason to toss out the evil conservative story - just start with "Though Palin and political rhetoric had nothing to do with the tragedy", and then run the same Palin/Conservative/Tea Party bashing story anyway.

You need to actually watch TV more, and/or really look at the articles on this site, of which there are many.
Bull***t numbers and claims, like yours, won't go unchecked. We know our stuff around here and take it kind of seriously. You, on the other hand, have shown us all that you don't and you don't.
So, again, this site is all about the serious issues we have with the *media* (that being, once again, to make it very clear, primarily "TV" .... and print... which I also listed above. So, what, do I also "read too many newspapers"??)

Dems call to ban Shakespeare's Violent Hate Speech

Congressional Democrats Demand Ban On Shakespearean Violent Rhetoric
Today on the house floor, Rep. Fineas F. Fluffinflouff (D-Crazyville, Nv.) proposed a ban on the use of William Shakespeare by political operatives in all public forums. The Congressman complained that the use of Shakesperean imagery amounted to hate speech and could easily inflame unstable citizens to acts of violence. In a moving oration lasting five hours, Rep. Fluffinflouff said,
"How do we know that listening to the violence rhetoric of Shakespeare, such as Cry 'Havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war did not send Jared Loughner over the edge into a murderous frenzy. We cannot afford to take any chances. I have already had 100 Congressional Democrats sign on to my Ban The Bloody Bard proposal".
Meanwhile, over in Hollywood, cult director Quentin Tarantino announced he was casting for the lead of his new move Die You Fithy Bitches Die, While I Slit Yo ****ing Throat You Hot Hoes.
Many studies have conclusively proved that Tea Party activists going about their unawful business of opposing crypto-socialist Democrats ,and Big Government has helped create a climate of extreme violence. Yet Hollywood movies, which feature the torture, mulitation and murder of human beings, are just entertainment. and in no way desensitize or provoke people to extreme violence, especially against women. The very idea is well, crazy!
All of the above Mr Obama? --- How about ALL OF THE BELOW, instead.

Opposing Obamacare is advocating MURDER.
Suggestion: The next big Tea Party event should also be advertised as an ART INSTALLATION.
Maybe that way liberals won't want to demomize people so much. And who knows, It'll probably get a government subsidy!

Normally when there's a Right

Normally when there's a Right vs. Left thing going on I find some level of real-world Lefties supporting whatever the MSM is pushing. Whether the Left gives a huge amount of support like during the Obama hysteria of '08 to a relatively muted level of support during the healthcare debates of '09 I find at least SOMEONE in my life that is a supporter.
Here? With the media's obviously pre-orchestrated hate campaign? I haven't found one real-world supporter of the media's campaign. I have lefties on my Facebook profile and not only have none of them expressed an opinion supporting the media, not one of them has even mentioned it (Though I have finally blocked the messages of one especially stupid fundamentalist that is only my friend due to genetics).
I think the media's really shot themselves in the foot with this, and I hope they continue shooting it (pardon the violent and vitriolic gun reference there).

Did the Pima County sheriff just not introduce bias into the case by opening his big mouth? One of our local legal eagles in San Antonio presented a very nice case why the sheriff needs to shut his trap to stop providing evidence for the defense.
I leave it to the attorneys.
And to my psychiatry colleagues who are brave enough to practice in adolescent schizophrenia to sort out.
