Media Mash: NB Publisher Bozell Takes On Liberal Media Pumping Up Obama While Bashing Gingrich
Appearing on Friday's Hannity on Fox News, during the weekly "Media Mash" segment, NewsBusters publisher and Media Research Center president Brent Bozell detailed ABC's attempt to paint a rosy economic picture to help President Obama and the liberal media's across-the-board effort to slam Newt Gingrich as a "frightening" "political killer." Referring to a story on the December 15 ABC World News in which anchor Diane Sawyer excitedly proclaimed "the comeback is for real" in the economy, Bozell declared: "That story could have produced by the Obama for President committee and you wouldn't have seen anything different." He added: "Or she could be wearing an Obama for President sticker...and you wouldn't feel at all awkward about it."
In response to the hyperbolic media denunciation of Gingrich, Bozell explained: "They fear and they loathe Newt Gingrich. They fear him because of his ideas, he's got bold ideas....loathing because of 40 years in public office, they saw what he did in the 1990's, they saw how he broke the gridlock and the monopoly the left had on the Congress and they fear he'd do it again as president.

I am always amazed at the section of the viewing public that merely drinks up the so-called 'news' presented by the Leftist Media without any critcal view of the bias involved and not to mention the outright lies that are portrayed as truth.
My father always told me that you could get a good read on a person by knowing who their enemies were. My support for Newt Gingrich has increased because of the liberal attacks upon him. We do need bold ideas at this time in our history. When he unapologetically told the truth about the Palestinian origins and the truth about the Mid East situation, I think he galvanized a large bloc of voters.
Press on Newt....it won't get any easier from here on out, but some of us are listening!

Can they do more than TWO little pieces, please? I still preferred how they did it back in the day when they quickly critiqued about 10 bits, esp with Monicas slow drawl taking half the time allotted-and can they give
Brent more than like 5 minutes, please? How about less time for Morris and Rove?

Note - "bold ideas" do not necessarily translate into "good ideas" or "conservative ideas".
