Actor Mark Wahlberg Literally Kisses Feet of Harry Smith on CBS 'Early Show'
In honor of Harry Smith leaving the CBS Early Show at the end of the month, along with weatherman Dave Price and already departed co-host Maggie Rodriguez, actor Mark Wahlberg concluded an interview with the morning show host by literally getting on the floor and kissing Smith's feet, declaring "You're the best, ever."
On November 30, it was announced that Smith, Rodriguez, and Price would be replaced by Chris Wragge, Erica Hill, Jeff Glor and Marysol Castro starting January 3. Walhberg's send-off included not only feet-kissing, but he embraced Smith twice as the show moved on to the next segment.

Well, that was a little weird. Not quite a Tom Cruise moment but a little weird. Like his movies though.
A little??

Ok, that does it, I am definitely not watching anymore of this guy's movies unless it's one where his character gets killed within the first 10 minutes of the movie.

I generally like his movies, and I'm not gonna put him in the category of Penn, Baldwin and Glover yet, but WTF was that all about??????

Ode to a Cretin.
Blessed are the feet
That carry the water
To soothe the stitched lip
of the leader who hails from nowhere
And leads us down
Into the abyss.
Hang in there, Harriet ...

maybe next time Marky Mark will give you that lap dance you've been fantasizing about.
I see I wasn't the only one who thought of Marky Mark

I should have known it would be you!
I like Walhberg as an actor, he's played some interesting roles, loved him in Three Kings. Italian Job was pretty good. He also came up with the concept for, and executive produces Entourage, which I find to be hilarious.
As for his little demonstration of love, who knows, perhaps he's back on crack?

I like his brother better in

I like his brother better in Band of Brothers and now Blue Bloods. He was in a few Rizzoli and Isles and a shorted lived series, Boomtown. The only thing that sticks out about Mark was Invincible. Must not have impressed me with anything else. he is up for a Golden Globe for best actor in The Fighter.

You guys are going to laugh, as I am Mark's cousin and think the world of him I still must say................
That his possible political views do not reflect the entire family as a whole, and also as someone who despises Smith, I am not happy with Mark at all here.
At the next wedding or family reunion I will bring this up.
I am closer in age to Donnie and his show BlueBloods is excellent and please NO "You got the right stuff" jokes as New kids on the block was not my cup of tea......................

Hot damn... what the hell did Wahlberg smoke or swallow before going on air?
From an elitist to an elitist

This is almost normal behavior for the liberal elite...one elitist snob (Mark Wahlberg) worshipping at the feet of another (Harry Smith). These snobs have no feeling for the rest of us poor slobs (unless they want to go after mean ol' Republicans in their class-warfare game).
Only in the media/Hollywood

Only in the media/Hollywood does one get worshiped for failing and being taken off the air.

We no longer watch anything by Wahlberg's alter macho man star - Matt Damon. He overloaded his mouth during Bush's Administration. Other than the Bourne franchise, we didn't find him very good at acting anyway.
Now Wahlberg goes terminally stupid. We liked him in The Italian Job and Shooter. I suppose I can let this go down the memory hole as long as he doesn't make a career out of public stupid. I'm glad we didn't actually see this. It would call for lots of eye bleach.
Harry Smith....you're

Harry Smith....you're fired!
Gosh, that just has a nice ring to it.

I'm from Wahlberg's neighborhood in Boston (OFD).
He didn't learn this phony elitist media jive on the mean streets of Dorchester. Wake up Mark!
I wonder what your hero Harry thinks of your Roman Catholicism?
