MRCTV Questions Bill Clinton On His Double Standard on Recall Elections
Asking the questions the liberal media won't ask, our good friend Joe Schoffstall of MRCTV caught up with Bill Clinton in Milwaukee today and asked him to defend his unqualified support of the recall effort to oust Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) from office given Clinton's previous opposition to recall elections in September 2003.
Back then, Clinton worried that tossing out Gov. Gray Davis (D) -- who had just been reelected the year prior -- would make California a "laughingstock" and would herald the "beginning of a circus in America where we just throw people out as soon as they make a tough decision." Let's face it, Bill Clinton has a problem with the truth.

"Or gay?"
Not according to the appellate court. So what, exactly, are you implying?

He was against his being recalled in 1998.

I really was raised on a Ranch, and I really was born in a barn.
And I get very homesick everytime I hear a JackASS bray.
The man is a fool and amounts to nothing more than a union thug tool.

Recall before there was a recall...

Let us not forget that this recall was planned before my Governor even took office - http://mediatrackers.org/2011/10/28/two-recall-websites-created-before-w...
This is the NEW way of the left to steal elections. I am SO sick and tired of recalls in this state. I hope and pray on Tuesday evening Walker is victorious! This coming Tuesday will be the fourth time I have had to "check" a box for Gov Walker in the last two years. We have voter fatigue here and us Conservatives will come out in droves. If we lose this election, mark my words, there was MASSIVE voter fraud. People are getting shipped to the polls every day in large vans, there a re teaches taking "voting age" kids out of school on, so called, filed trips and taking them to vote... I can go on and on. Everyone needs to get out and vote. Let us NOT forget to vote for Rebecca Kleefisch for Lt Gov.
Pray for Wisconsin, my friends! It all starts here!
WAR!
That's a very good point

That's a very good point about the recall being planned before Walker ever took office. Wish the reporter had been armed with that point. If he had made it in the question, Clinton couldn't have used his long-winded defense.
Oh no you don't

It's silly rhetoric that the people have a right to recall a politician because they didn't know what he was going to do in office.
No politician can deliver on all of his promises, but Walker here is actually delivering exactly on what he promised. Note, by the way, that those promised reforms are succeeding.
Clinton has the same charm as Professor Harold Hill, smiling and persuading while he carries out his latest scam.

Kudos to the reporter for asking the question. But there was no comeback on Clinton's ridiculous answer. It would have been appropriate to politely interrupt and say that the ex-Presidents comments could have been made about Gray Davis. Or challenge the statement about the attack on unions.
Clinton won that match, I'm sorry to say. Can't understand why NB thought it was worth posting. Clinton looked good. And I can't stand that sorry excuse for a man.
