meanies of free expression stop that freedom so that you can force them to give me air time on their station where the listeners could care less what I have to say anyway....this is the reason no lib/progressive radio ever makes it....they can't muster enough listeners to promote sponsorship....and comrades, even though we want to see it so, profit and the free market are still working here....comrade obama is doing all he can to wreck it, but we must do all we can to help him....the passage of the fairness doctrine may be our only hope....sincerely, I. Mandated freedom of speach?

"Liberals want freedom of speech, We basically want 10 percent of the airtime..."
Freedom of speech doesn't mean you're mandated, via government regulation, a certain percentage of "airtime" in any or every possible venue. That's the antithesis of "Freedom of Speech."
Freedom of Speech means you're free to speak in a venue of YOUR creation, not someone's else's. This means that you can give your own speech about anything you want, but it doesn't mean you get to interrupt someone else's speeches, nor can you demand that someone allocate a percentage of their speech "time" to you.
In regards to TV and Radio, you can have 100 percent of "airtime" for your own radio or televisions station, if that is what you wish. Others don't have to "air" your voice at all. That's THEIR freedom of speech, you see.

Liveleak had a great expose story on Free Speech
Submitted by Less1leg on Wed, 05/25/2011 - 4:01am.
Do liberals believe in "free speech" or don't they believe in free speech. You'd never know in the nations university system. In a recent Liveleak story a group of young people questioned walking by students and school staff about "Free Speech" and their support verbally about the Constitution and the right to Free Speech. On the other hand, the group presented to the Students and School Staff a written application to "remove Free Speech" from conservatives, as described like Rush Limbaugh and others. The petition was well documented by the Questionaire to Remove Free Speech from conservatives like Rush, or Glen Beck.
It was laughable really, but so true. Connecting the dots as you will, Free Speech is only Free to those who speak it in the same group of Free Speakers. So a liberal has every right to speak freely in public or elsewhere because they are the only ones who have the intellect to and cognitive right to free speech. Whereas, a conservative person doesn't have the right to Free Speech because their type of talk or discussion isn't well received. You know, the right kind of speech, its not liberal speak. So its not progressive, intellectual, all encombassing as liberals speak. So its not to be used or it should be very restricted.
So, do "Rights" only belong to liberals? It certainly would be interesting to know. Since the very people who hold all these signs demanding Freedoms and Rights, and civility are the same ones, denying them to others who fail to agree with them politically on issue of living in society. Liberals sure are a curious bunch, when they talk the talk , they certainly don't walk the walk.
