Hannity, Bozell Discuss Hate-filled Rhetoric From Lefties like Ed Schultz, Montel Williams That Media Have Ignored

"Rush Limbaugh needs to choke to death on his own fat," deranged left-wing radio show host Mike Malloy hissed on his February 18, 2009 program.

Michele Bachmann should "slit [her] wrist!" Montel Williams told his Air America radio show audience in September 2009.

"We ought to rip [Dick Cheney's heart] out and kick it around and stuff it back in him," MSNBC's Ed Schultz blustered on his February 24, 2010 radio program.

Those are just three examples of left-wing hate that the mainstream media haven't denounced while accusing conservatives like Sarah Palin of engendering violence in the wake of the Rep. Gabrielle Giffords shooting.

"Have you ever heard any reporter... denounce these examples?" NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell asked Fox News' Sean Hannity after watching the montage during last night's "Media Mash" segment on "Hannity."

"Conservatives don't talk this way, yet they're attacking us for something we have nothing to do with," Bozell concluded.

Bozell later noted that the media's complaints about Sarah Palin's "target map" are specious and hypocritical.

"How about this, Sean? How about the original logo of the show "Crossfire"? What did it have? It had crosshairs!" Bozell reminded Hannity.

While listening to O'Reilly last evening I noticed he mentioned that he knew of several prominent liberals who informed him that they now realize the vitriolic accusations are not only wrong to make, but false as well. So presenting the liberals' overwhelming vitriol they has spewed forth in the manner they now decry is doing some good.

I for one don't want the constant hate speech put forth by any and all interested parties.

I also want a daily accounting of same on " FOX NEWS ". " NewsBusters ", and all conservative reporting sights. Also every real American must incorporate the discussion into every conversation they have throughout the day. Bring it up around the watercooler, on line at the supermarket, Home Depot line and at your children's sporting events, PTA meetings etc.

This, getting out of the truth about the true nature of the Obama administration, democrat party and lame street media, during our normal course of business, leisure activities, etc. is the best way to, once and for all, end the insanity and character assasination coming from the left.

Good grief, she was all over the place about who to place blame and wanting to do a rebellion for the wrong reasons. When she said "politicians," I'm sure she meant Republicans because her decrying the capitalist system to be overthrown makes her a full blown socialist. I wouldn't be surprised if she hates the Constitution.

If there is to be a rebellion, it should be to abolish the current government since it is indeed corrupt and getting more tyrannical by the day. It has violated the Constitution in so many ways, the list would be long.

Very laudable comment, but false. This is exactly what the left is doing to us. The left makes us say things like this, admitting that the conservitives are as vitreolic as the left says they are, without admitting that they are twice as bad. Should both sides constrain themselves, yes. People can communicate with words that are more powerful than the racist attacks the left is so fond of making. But the left has to be called on their own hate speach.

The last time conservatives took the "high road" and didn't rebut the slanders, mischaracterizations, libels, vitriol, and outright lies from the left, the Democrats took over congress (2006 mid-terms). But now the Right is responding relatively admirably IMHO. Conservative talking heads are rebutting with clean sarcasm (Dennis Miller-ish) and factually pointing to lefty examples of spewing hate and lies. They're also countering the left's automatic response of "hate speech" or "racism" with the same sarcasm and factual rebuttals. We just need to stay calm, while at the same time, ripping their "arguments" to shreds in the most painful (to them) way as possible.

Speaking of lefty hate speech. Being in the Sacramento area there are plenty of lefties but I have not yet read such stupidity and hypocracy as this.

I attempted to comment but there was some glitch. Wow....just wow.

I especially like the last two sentences. It's even better than his assertion that JFK assassination conspiracies are illogical but a connection between Palin and Tucson is clear as a bell.
