Gabriel Malor at Ace of Spades HQ has a great "name that party" catch today. Malor noted that at least three major news outlets all failed to note the high-powered Democratic Party ties of one Hassan Nemazee, a businessman arrested this morning on a charge of bank fraud against Citigroup:
Do you know what's not in the CNN article?* Or this Reuters one? Or this AP one?
A crucial detail from Nemazee's bio:
National Finance Chair - Hillary Clinton for President, 2008
National Finance Chair - Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC)
New York Finance Chair - John Kerry for President 2002 -2004
He was also nominated by President Clinton to be U.S. Ambassador to Argentina.
*The article linked there at CNNMoney.com is actually a Dow Jones Newswire story, not a CNN-bylined story.

Ken, this is a real
August 25, 2009 - 12:59 ET by MikeBKen, this is a real poser! Let's see, it is the Republicans who have the "culture of corruption", so I would have to say Mr. Nemazee is a evil, capitalist, profit making Republican, right? The facts that he was involved in the campaigns of Hillary, and John F. Kerry (he served in Vietnam, you know) is just a smokescreen. Mr. Nemazee is really a Karl Rove plant, the proof of which is that both Hillary and Kerry lost. Is the /sarc really necessary?

August 25, 2009 - 13:35 ET by nyyankee55I only have one question- how did Obama miss this guy. He sounds perfectly qualified for a Czar or Cabinet member for Barry?
No wonder he's pissed at Hillary- she's keeping all the good candidates to herself

August 25, 2009 - 14:34 ET by rightwingchefThese Libs just keep getting better and better. There can't be anything left to surprize the American people. Its just a shame that the elite media won't report honestly about this stuff. If this were a Conservative they would be bashed into the dirt.
It wouldn't matter if all
August 25, 2009 - 21:09 ET by RR GOPIt wouldn't matter if all these Dem scumbags are hoisted on the gallows of the Press...the illusion of Republican corruption as some kind of innate trait will stick the most.
Remember, people are desperate and getting moreso, and they know that only the Dems will give them anything of a shot at that "free money" that the government just might send their way.
