If, and hope we don't, have another 9/11, I think that Obama will either fall apart or have a VERY lame response. His approval rating will soon aferwards hit rock bottom, or at least should, even with his most ardent supporters.

It's a pointless change in terminology, but that's what ALL politicians do. I'm sure Charlie was equally enraged when the Bush administration did it.

Obama and his coterie of morons can stupidly choose to rename the war on terror, but the fact remains that this is a war, no matter how much "O" and Co., want to believe otherwise. You can call a cow a pig, but it's still a cow. That said, what concerns me more than the the PC re-naming of the war on terror, is how this administration will (or won't) be handling this subject. Obama is reverting to the Clinton administration's viewpoint of how to deal with terrorism...It's not a war, but a law and order issue. This is completely wrong-headed, and will prove destructive to the country.

Unfortunately, "amateur hour" at the White House has returned.

Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately slapped with a waffle by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its Government and its Emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific.

Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced molecularly separating Oahu, the Japanese Ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to the Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. While this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of contingency operations or meaniness by manmade disasters.

It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan makes it obvious that the meaniness was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Japanese Government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace. The meaniness yesterday on the Hawaiian Islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. Very many American lives have been dealt a bad day. In addition, American ships have been reported let fill with water on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.

Yesterday the Japanese Government also launched a meaniness against Malaya.

Last night Japanese forces slapped with a waffle Hong Kong.

Last night Japanese forces slapped with a waffle Guam.

Last night Japanese forces slapped with a waffle the Philippine Islands.

Last night the Japanese slapped with a waffle Wake Island. This morning the Japanese slapped with a waffle Midway Island.

Japan has, therefore, undertaken a meaniness offensive extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of yesterday speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.

As Commander in Chief of the army and navy I have directed that we try very very hard.

Always will we remember the character of the parade of not nicedness against us.

No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated coming ashore without our permission, the American people in their righteous might will try our best through to absolute end of contingency operations. I believe I interpret the will of the Congress and of the people when I assert that we will not only be nice to the uttermost but will make very certain that this form of un-niceness shall never endanger us again.

A not nice situation exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory and our interests are in grave danger.

With confidence in our armed forces—with the unbounding determination of our people—we will gain the inevitable happy endings—so help us God. I ask that the Congress declare that since the really not expected and hurty feelings meaniness by Japan on Sunday, December 7, a state of contingency operation has existed between the United States and the Japanese Empire.

So does this mean Bill Aryes was a domestic societal engineer and his focus on the police was the deconstruction of authority?  

Timothy McVey was only acting in the cause of urban renewal?
