Earlier today, medical correspondent Elizabeth Cohen accidentally insulted colleague Rick "I play it down the middle" Sanchez as "CNN's chief twit" for his frequent use of microblogging application Twitter.
As veteran users of the service know, "tweep" is the preferred term to refer to registered users of Twitter. Likewise, a posting to one's Twitter account is often referred to as a "tweet."

February 26, 2009 - 04:20 ET by danybhoyRick Sanchez is one of the worst pukers I've seen in the media in a long time. What do I mean by puker? I find it hard to believe that he speaks the way he does on camera, off camera. Sort of like whacky morning DJs overdoing their speech patterns.
He is also one of the bigger dimwits in cablenews, this includes most of MSNBCs group of clueless thugs. THE first person at CNN who should get the sack is Sanchez. My suggestion to Rick if this does happen, don't go to a bar to down a few to help numb the pain, & then get into your car. The person you killed when you hit him after getting loaded at a Dolphins game would agree with me.
