The Baltimore Sun is still failing to remind readers of the party affiliation of city Mayor Sheila Dixon (D) as it continues to probe her questionable dealings from when she was city council president. A few weeks ago, Dixon's home was raided by state investigators.
While the Sun's reporters should be commended for following the unfolding story -- today's article by staffer John Fritze made the front page of the print edition and was featured prominently on the Web site -- more often than not the Sun's coverage has omited Dixon's party label. There has been to my knowledge just one exception, a June 25 article on which Fritze shared the byline with reporters Lynn Anderson and Doug Donovan.

By omitting words such as "liberal" and "Democrat" from articles dealing with scandals and corruption, a future researcher will not find these articles doing a simple word search. Most likely, these stories will fade into history without political identification or labeling.
Journalism is no longer about presenting facts in order to inform a consumer. It is about manipulating the collective conscience. Goebbels would be proud.

Now, look closely at the articles from the libmedia. Do you ever see the words “leftist rebels” (The FARC)? How about “Communist rebels”?
FOX used the word “leftist” but try finding the others actually usually the proper adjectives.
Also, the rescue was done by disguising the copter as one from a “Human Rights” group to get “instant trust” from the terrorist-communists. Heard that on TV yet? Three leading congressional democrats also had minor negative supporting roles for the leftist rebels! Heard that?
Try the WSJ for an update. Apparently only talk radio hosts like Boortz are allowed to read the WHOLE story. Where would we be is we trusted the mainstream libmedia for ALL the story?
See, when the libmedia see some negative factual information about their political heroes…it just gets omitted. It just becomes censored.

I did hear that on television, in the wee hours of the morning on one of the stations, and possibly the Washington Journal this morning...darn I wished I could remember where I heard all the details you put perfectly here quite ell...
I too, was thinking the same thing as you posted...why the hell the msm is so damned silent about this all...(I do know, it is just despicable that they are...not as sexy as Christie Brinkley and her divorce...that is much more important)
It should be a huge story..
I found the human rights copter as a perfect disguise quite telling...says it all doesn't it...leftists all of them.
