In an entry entitled, "Protest du Jour," Seattle Post-Intelligencer's Candace Heckman let the paper's "The Big Blog" readers know that, "[c]oast to coast, Sept. 12 has been declared National Call-In Day to End the Iraq War by a conglomeration of advocacy groups."
Oh how nice.
Today's protest is expected to take place all day over the telephone. The idea is to call your congressman or congresswoman (or any congressman or congresswoman) to express displeasure in the United States' continuing involvement in Iraq.
Heckman proceeded to give out the phone numbers for the state of Washington's delegation to the 110th Congress. The P-I blogger noted that "as with all demonstrations, war and troop supporters are also expected to counter-protest, also by telephone."
While that is true, something tells me not to expect Heckman or another blogger at the P-I to give out phone numbers for congressmen when, say, pro-life protests on the January anniversary of Roe v. Wade roll around.

...this "protest" is really all just about "big solar/wind power" and the massive "liberal-industrial-bitching-and-moaning-complex..."

Well, the libs got their wish, the military was reduced in the 90's to cobbling together everything they owned as their funding was stripped by WJC who used the money to send MRE's to Rwanda, Haiti, and elsewhere....

Don't "Expect' them, "Count on it".
But just like the 3/17/2007 Anti War March on the Pentagon, the MSM will ignore that the Pro-American Troop Supporters on that day that outnumbered the moonbats by 30,000 to 10,000.....But the Moonbats will know....and they will be very uncomfortable on their march down Pennsylvania Ave on 9/15.

I usually indicate how and where I received the information. Doesn't hurt to level the playing field whenever you can. We probably don't let folks know what we think they are doing right.
