Rove dominated Inside Politics coverage

A quick by the numbers look at Rove coverage on Inside Politics today: Out of 14 segments on IP, nine were devoted to the Karl Rove/CIA leak story: Six segments centered on Rove, kicked off with the opening segment jointly-reported segment by Ed Henry on Capitol Hill and Suzanne Malveaux at the White House as one story. Two separate interviews with senators (Leahy and Specter) asked about Rove in the course of their interviews, which mostly centered on the Supreme Court vacancy. One "strategy session" with Democratic strategist Paul Begala and Republican strategist Rich Galen, roughly one-third of which was centered on the Rove controversy. Stay tuned for tomorrow, I have little inclination to think the drumbeat will let up on CNN's Inside Politics. Share this
