I just wanted to provide a little follow-up to Brad Wilmouth's excellent coverage of Keith Olbermann's outrageous performance of telling the President to "shut the hell up". If you didn't hear about this you can find the transcript of his rant here. (See also video embedded below page break)
I wanted to provide this follow-up because I thought the readers at NewsBusters would enjoy this video of Fox and Friends nailing MSNBC and Olbermann for their bias.

Blatant
May 22, 2008 - 13:24 ET by MeanderingWell it was pretty blatant and OlberNERD should be nailed for it. I’ve never seen so much love the media has for Obama and in the same breathe distain for Bush. However, there they are a “respected news source”. Yeah, try a biased liberal agenda pushing source.

Olbermann et al are jokes
May 22, 2008 - 13:55 ET by marvlOlbermann et al are jokes as journalists. Their shows are closer to sitcoms than to serious news or commentary shows. So long as the American people realize what a bunch of biased bozos they are, no harm done: they can be dismissed as purveyors of tasteless drivel. What worries me, however, is that there are likely a few poor souls out there with room temperature IQs who swallow this tainted bile and think they just sipped a chocolate shake.
I am beginning to think there needs to be legislation to get this crap off the airwaves. It clearly is not news reporting, but the worst kind of misleading propaganda. It is not a good thing that organizations like NBC and MSNBC are influencing American political thought.
Maybe Too Far
May 22, 2008 - 14:10 ET by MeanderingI don't like the idea of legislation, but the best and fastest way to get these loons off the air is to get people to stop watching. It is a business afterall and if they are not bringing the audience advertisers are not spending the money and that's what its all about anyway, isn't it?
Good thought, but...
May 22, 2008 - 18:31 ET by unkeeafYou're just not going to get people to stop watching this dreck. I raised this issue a few weeks ago. These people hold themselves up as objective reporters, yet they are clearly anything but that. Something needs to be done because their biased and misleading views have an enormous impact on millions of Americans.
F&F did an excellent job
May 22, 2008 - 15:49 ET by bigtimerF&F did an excellent job here this morning concerning Olbie and his insane leftist rant plus the bias with Engel and all of NBC/msnbc...sure liked the graphic below that has NewBusters displayed.

I agree olbermann sounds
May 22, 2008 - 17:48 ET by mjgI agree olbermann sounds scary. He goes on this tirade and there is a lot of bias in his commentaries. He and Matthews have their bias and it's alive and well in NBC and it's sister cable network, as well as the other cable network. They seem to have picked Obama to win eveything except they forgot we still have an election process to go thru and the media does not elect the president. This makes me despise the left leaning liberal media even more.
Keith Olbeman is a major
May 22, 2008 - 18:00 ET by radiofitz34Keith Olbeman is a major league a**hole and I'm not going to spell his name right because he does not deserve it. There is no way he can concider himself unbiased. He is obviously a Moveon. com patsy. He should be considered as the worst person on earth...in my opinion.

It just goes to show you why Liberalism IS, HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE FOR FOREVER AND A DAY A MENTAL DISORDER!
Let me give you a couple of gems...if you can stomach them:
"Fox news talking heads whining about biased reporting is one of the
funniest things on this channel. They have their heads so far up Bush
and Cheney's ass I'm surpirised they don't need a flashlight to read
the news."
"IS THIS THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK OR WHAT!!! These guys are such
NeoCon whores, and someone should tell that bottle-blond skank this
president has earned all the disrespect he can get."
Insightful comments...YEAH RIGHT AND SOCCER IS A SPORT!!

Olberman needs to choose his words better.
May 22, 2008 - 19:11 ET by Biff McCainBush saying he gave up golf because of the mothers of dead soldiers is more of an insult.
Why doesn't he give up riding his tricycle? I understand they have to
close down a park in Maryland, because people yelled nasty insults,
every time he takes it for a spin.
Granted Bush owns the book on fighting terrorism: MY Pet Goat. I'll give him that.

May 22, 2008 - 19:41 ET by motherbeltIn a different segment, Doocy related how Olbermann had made Doocy's college-student son the "Worst person in the world!""
Video here
"Wow!" commented Olbermann. "Wonder which emotion impacts dad more at this moment, pride that at 20 years old, the boy is already a completely replaceable cog in the vast Rupert Murdoch media manipulation machine, or buyer‘s remorse when he gets the bill from college and realizes the kid‘s mind has already been nailed shut?"
Granted, Doocy's son is his kid, but he's not really a kid; he is in college.
Still, Olbermann's intent was obviously to insult the son as a slap at the father.
Very mature, Keithie....
