I'm pretty familiar with that law and it does not specifically mention Big Corporations, which are the bane of all corruption in government, right?  Even if one is conservative; I don't think anyone who has served their country would advocate that people should not vote.

If there are any true journalist left, why dont they look into organizations that do help the poor with no, no gov. funds. Try these, Goodwill, UnitedWay, Catholic Charities, just to start. There are hundreds of organizations I came in contact with over the years to help my clients. All existed on private donations. United way and Red Cross were two of the most helpful and successful groups working during the Katrina-Rita mess. The percentage of funds that go directly to the poor should be compared with Acorn. Then you can explain to me how an organization can own 50million dollars worth of prime real estate in NY and how that helps the poor.
