'This Week' Uncovers Anti-Castro Protesters Displaying Really Bad Spelling in Public

It would have been more honest had ABC News simply stated its opinion that those opposed to the communist regime in Cuba are unreconstructed ignoramuses, but that would be asking a bit much.

Instead, a photo was shown on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" this morning that said as much without coming out and saying it, during a segment on President Obama seeking to normalize relations with Cuba.

Here is what was stated by ABC News reporter Jim Avila just before the photo was displayed --

Sources tell ABC News the first State Department official to visit Cuba publicly is scheduled to land in Havana the second week of January, followed shortly by the secretary of state, John Kerry.

But critics counter, now is the time for the US to step up sanctions against Castro and complained that President Obama did not get enough from Havana. In Miami, there were small demonstrations against Obama's actions ...

At this point the photo was shown, of three demonstrators in mid protest chant, two of them holding up a sign that reads -- "OBAMA ADMINISTRATION 'COMPIRACY" WITH CASTRO TERRORIT "ALAN GROSS". Yes, they somehow managed to get "administration" right, but mangled "terrorist" and "conspiracy." Gee, think there's any chance that these are actually pro-Castro apologists seeking to embarrass opponents, confident that at least one major American news outlet will go along for the ride?

Still waiting on ABC or anyone else in the leeward media to report on the apparent inconsistency of Obama condemning "torture" as detailed in a partisan Senate staff report, followed by Obama's warm embrace of a totalitarian regime that routinely tortures dissidents for the crime of uttering untoward opinions.
