Rachel Maddow Wants to Interview Dick Cheney. She Weally, Weally Does.

By Jack Coleman | August 26, 2011 | 17:43

A  A

Just when you thought Rachel Maddow could not get more cloyingly annoying, she outdoes herself again.

There she was on her MSNBC show last night, talking about about how she must interview Dick Cheney about his memoirs, seeing how he'll be appearing on "Dateline NBC," "Today" and "Morning Joe" (video after page break) --

Former vice president Dick Cheney has a book now. I have not read it, don't have a copy yet. But thanks to Charlie Savage at the New York Times reading it, we know that while Dick Cheney was unconscious for weeks last year after heart surgery, he "had a prolonged vivid dream that he was living in an Italian villa, pacing the stone paths to get coffee and newspapers."

We also know that his one regret about his time as vice president is that he did not start enough wars. Mr. Cheney's book says he argued for bombing Syria in 2007.

Mr. Cheney's first interview about his book will air Sunday on "Dateline NBC." He'll be on the "Today" show Tuesday and then "Morning Joe" on Thursday.

Will Dick Cheney ever be on this show, will he? I very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very much hope so. Someday.

Maddow must think her liberal viewers consider this sort of thing charming, as opposed to infantile.

Yes, he will, Rachel. As a wedding present, when you get married. To a man.

Just one of the advantages of being Obama is that you can never start too many wars. And compliance with the war powers act is optional.

Madcow definitely thinks she's pretty darn cute...yet more evidence that everyone at that manure pile of a network is off the rails. Still, she would probably do better against the former VP than most of the prime-time lineup. Could you imagine Prissy, Sgt. Schultz or heaven forbid Reverand Al trying to take him on?

The Cheney kid and her female park ranger are having their second child. Dicky boy it was reported was all excited about it. If the Madow interview is pulled off Maddow will probably bring this out.

Weirdopedia says that " Cheney was reported to be pregnant with her second child. Mary Cheney delivered her second child, Sarah Lynne Cheney, November 19, 2009. Cheney, Poe, and their children currently live in Great Falls, Virginia."

Would any true conservative, Christian physician be part of that arrangement?

This great war lover of yours got 5 deferments from the draft. He doesn't mind others getting shot but he didn't want to trouble himself by entering a combat zone in Vietnam where he was liable to get shot!

You agree with his draft dodging?

What about the time he got those two Driving While Intoxicated" citations? One such arrest and citation led to a conviction of the future vice-president.

What about when he told the CFR that those dumb voters in Wyoming wouldn't understand his membership in the CFR? He kept his membership in that subversive outfit secret. What did he have to hide that he felt he could now tell folks in Wyoming "while he was campaigning?"

Sooooo, you dislike Cheney due to deferments from military service?

In that case you must REALLY hate the common liberal who has failed to show up in uniform for the last 40 years. After all, 85% of the military self identifies as conservatives in polls and something like 10-11% self identify as moderates. What does that leave ?

Do you know why Charlie Rangel has been pushing a draft for the past ten years? It is so liberals in the 2020 and later elections will be able to field someone for office who can say "I was an infantry platoon leader at Fallujah" rather than "I was a code Pink protestor."

And drafting them is the only way to get the common liberal into the mix.
