Ed Schultz Boasts 'I Ain't Backing Down' On Fiery Rhetoric. I'll Be 'More Measured' Instead.
Whatever you feel is needed to save face, Ed.
Here's Schultz right out the gate on his radio show yesterday --
Folks, let me tell you something, I'm making this announcement right away. We are not changing "The Ed Show" on MSNBC. As long as they open their mouths over there on the right, we will continue to have the segment called Psycho Talk. Because that's exactly what it is. And as soon as they say that they're not going to vote to repeal health care, then I'll make some changes. ... Last night on "The Ed Show" on MSNBC, I said that the fault of this horrific event in Tucson was that of the shooter. That's it. But now we spin off into the blame game about the rhetoric. And now there's announcements on a morning show on MSNBC that we have to tone it down. No one has told me to tone anything down. No one's, I have not gotten a directive from the president of MSNBC. I have not gotten a directive from anybody associated with this radio show. So, today I'm announcing, it's still Ed! And these people are ruthless in my opinion. Just look at their votes! Look at their policy! ...
Not that it had anything to do with Tucson, but still!
I don't believe for a minute they're going to tone it down. It wasn't that long ago that Beck was saying that something really, really big was going to happen. Well, what does that mean? Is that toning it down? Is that planting the seed? I believe it is. ...
Not that it had anything to do with Tucson, but still!
Look, why is Sarah Palin quiet all of a sudden? She's guilty. She is feeling guilty is what I mean. She's not guilty for the shooting, but she's in the arena. You can't tell me what Sarah Palin has said and done has not affected the climate in this country. You cannot tell me that she has not done Twitter and been coming from outher space! ...
Not that to had anything to do with Tucson, but still!
Followed by this disclosure from Schultz; turn your back for a moment and you easily missed it --
I ain't backing down, OK? I may be more measured in the way I say it, but I'm not backing down. At all!
Schultz wants conservatives to tone it down, but as for him -- "I'm not backing down. At all!" Well, he is and he isn't, depending on when Schultz tells you.
This from a man who reportedly threatened, in a fit of pique, to burn down MSNBC studios.
Who is never more in character than when he's on his cable show, bellowing and red-faced and veins bulging, in the segment he calls "Psycho Talk."
Who regales radio listeners with details about his impressive cache of firearms, and who owns a small plane he must inevitably fly over places where people live, work or attend school.
Two words come to mind as I've watched Schultz's reaction to the horror in Tucson --
warning signs.

Embrace your right to be spunky and opinionated, thats what the first amendment is all about. then we will act the same way and democracy will work the way it is supposed to. you keep showing the people what liberalism is all about and we'll keep showing them what conservatives are all about and come 2012 we'll see who wins.

This guy is nuttier than the guy who shot up the Congresswoman's group. I want him front and center every night to show the face of Progressives who at this point have reached the point of no return. They've been pushing these twisted versions of the truth since Gore lost. They've gotten away with it for the most part. Only problem is they got bolder with the propaganda and the swill they "report" now is so hypocritical and dishonest, they've "cried wolf(or Bush or Palin) one time too many. The media has exposed itself for the merchants of dishonesty they truly are. This guy to anyone that doesn't know who he is is obviously eight cans shy of a twelve pack. The Left is really falling apart at the seams. There's only so many lies and distortions one can get away with.
I'm not crazy about Palin, nor am I a detractor, but I swear to you that if she runs, the very Moonbats that are trying to destroy her will be the ones to put her in office. It's that Progressive curse of the law of unintended consequences.
Oh and by the way, Psycho Ed is an A-Hole........
I'm sure all twelve of Ed's viewers are happy to hear this

I want him to keep talking and spewing his rehtoric. I want him to talk every night and day as much as he wants. Thats his right just as much as any other talk radio host or TV opinion program. That is the way the system works. Also it allows people to see how wrong progresiveism is! More power to ya Ed, and you 12 listeners!

Ed's really the perfect MSNBC

Ed's really the perfect MSNBC chinwagger: ignorant, ranting, untethered from facts, sweaty armpits, drooling, hysterical, wild crazy look, babbling nonsense, low ratings, etc. Naw, they won't fire him. He's the perfect MSNBC host. Keep talking. Ed.

The Blue Faced Muppet.
No doubt blue-faced due to holding his breath in anger, like a 2 year old. Ahem.
Hey, I have friends in high places to steal my tags from. The one I've used for the last two years was from none other than Maha Rushie himself!

Running FoxNews commentary
Submitted by Texndoc on Wed, 01/12/2011 - 5:27pm.
I watched part of his show and laughed that it's basically just running Fox News commentary. And then I heard a bit of a recording of Glenn Becks radio show where they were just laughing their butts off that Joe Scarborough just had to go on and on and on and on about Glenn Beck "but I don't watch his show" said Jealous Joe.who cares

This poor excuse for a human is not even worth mentioning. He is the most pathetic "host" and if I worked at pmsnbc would be scared to death when he decides to light a match.

I don't care if it is measured or poured liberally, poison is still bad for everyone.

For the management at MSNBC there is money to be made; whether you are an old loon like Chrissy, Olbie or Schultz. Someone has to bring the bacon home.
The sad thing is that these characters have sold their souls and they cannot turn back because they make money, and after all in their world "greed is good"; unless you are a conservative/republican or someone who does not agree with their beliefs.
In my opinion crazy people like Ed Schultz fall under a protected class; therefore, nothing they say or do will get them fired or off the air. The longer he is on the air, the more people realize what a nut job he is...
