MRC’s Dan Gainor on Lou Dobbs Discussing Soros 'Buying a Political Agenda'
“Frankly, $48 Million is just scratching the surface,” MRC’s Gainor said of left-wing billionaire George Soros’ funding of liberal media outlets and organizations. “We found 180 liberal outlets that he’s funding, we came out with that today, an astonishing reach,” he told Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs on May 25. “They talk on the Left about this echo chamber, and that’s exactly what they’ve created for themselves, and it bubbles all the way up into the mainstream media.”
Video below the fold.
Gainor has spent months researching just how far is the reach of left-wing financier and media tycoon George Soros. His latest installment chronicles how “every month, reporters, writers and bloggers at the many outlets he funds easily reach more than 330 million people around the globe.”
“What happens actually is that it goes from Soros to these organizations, these investigative reporting operations like ProPublica, Center for Investigative Reporting, Center for Public Integrity,” Gainor informed Dobbs. “There are more than 30 top news outlets in the country that are represented on the boards of these, some of them, actually in the board of directors. Christiane Amanpour is on the, not just the board of advisors, board of directors for the Center for Public Integrity … She’s on there with Arianna Huffington.”

I think at some point it will
I think at some point it will be revealed that Soros' influence peddling will be more far reaching and nefarious than anyone initially thought.
How is this a Breaking story ?????
Wasn't Glenn Beck blowing the lid off of Spooky Dude (aka George Soros) over a year ago ??
You know it's funny how Glenn gets treated as a loon, and then once the media catches up they don't seem to remember who broke the story first.
Soros
Soros has his hands on the White House. His puppets are everywhere. And, unfortunately, he owns the lame stream media, the same media that has sold out their country for money & power.
Buying an agenda
The NY Post, the Weekly Standard, and the Washington Times are not profitable. Who is buying a political agenda? Soros doesn't own any media
Uh, Yeah, He Does; It's Called "Media Matters"?
Look, if you are going to try to defend the good name of Mr. Soros, at least tell the truth about it. What I try to do is see if I'm being peddled a bunch of horse-dung, and with that, I try to look up any resource as to which this is based off of. I would recommend this book called Blowing Smoke: Why The Right Wing Keeps Serving Up Whack-Job Fantasies About The Plot To Kill Grandma, Outlaw Christmas, And Turn Junior Into A Raging Homosexual by Michael Wolraich, who is a blogger from TalkingPointsMemo (and based off of that sub-headline, rather left-of-center, to say the least.) The book might sound like leftist tripe, but since it cites its sources rather effectively, I have to take it as accurate from a liberal point-of-view. Not that I necessarily think the liberal point-of-view is always the right one, but since I am only presented with a conservative point-of-view, I must at least find out how valid it is and whether the liberal view is more accurate than the conservative view and vice-versa. That is always the job of someone who wants to just know the facts, and as Indiana Jones would say:
-"If it's truth you're looking for, Dr. Tyree's philosophy class is right down the hall. "
Ah, Lou Dobbs: The Guy To Peddle Conspiracy Theories To...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't "Loon Dogs" (which, by the way, isn't my line, it's Michael Medved's) the one who kept promoting this conspiracy theory of the creation of a North American Union because of the construction of the NAFTA trans-corridor highway through Texas? Which, by the way, took place during the BUSH ADMINISTRATION, hmm? Are you sure that's the person you want to discuss your quote-on-quote "serious research" on such an explosive topic? Of course, if you base your research off of paranoid schizophrenics like Lyndon LaRouche and William Engdahl, I guess Loon Dogs would be a natural fit for your smear peddling.
As the old line goes, "Tell a lie long enough and it will eventually become the truth." An old tactic from anti-Semites, if there wasn't any other.
