'Perfect Valor' Debuts May 16th at the GI Film Festival

In 2004, coalition forces in Iraq launched Operation Phantom Fury, the battle for control of Fallujah. American troops battled through a city of enemy insurgents, fighting house to house and street to street to seize control of the most dangerous city in the world.

Narrated by Senator Fred D. Thompson, “Perfect Valor” [view trailer at right] is the story of the high price paid by US forces and the legacy of that campaign as seen through the eyes of the men and women who were there, risking their lives in service to their country.

We meet a Navy Cross recipient, recognized for extraordinary gallantry under fire during the assault on Fallujah. A true American hero still haunted by his experience in Iraq. We listen to the family of a fallen Marine as they tell the story of their sacrifice. We hear the harrowing tale of a battalion surgeon who risked his own life to move an aid station forward, into the middle of the fight - a decision that saved thirty lives.

Through interviews with American servicemembers and their loved ones, “Perfect Valor” circumvents the filter of the mainstream media and gives the audience the chance to hear personal stories of courage and sacrifice directly from those who were there.

Using unbelievable high-definition footage and faithful recreations, “Perfect Valor” gives the viewer a first-hand look at what these brave servicemen and women experienced, painting a vivid picture of urban warfare. Viewers get a never-before-seen look at the experiences of American troops fighting in Iraq.

These brave men and women answered the call to serve. They deserve to be honored, and their stories deserve to be told.

“Perfect Valor” will debut at the GI Film Festival on Saturday, May 16 in Washington, DC.

Fallujah ranks up there as

Fallujah ranks up there as one of the Marines' most historic and courageous battles.
It is the battle that's talked about amongst the Iraq veterans, whether they participated, or were even Marines, at the time.
Time now for this nation to also recognize that, and as you said David, honor them.

The Army was there too

Agreed. But I was under the impression that it was strictly a Marine operation. But watching that trailer, that woman nurse was Army. That peaked my curiosity. And while the Marines were certainly the lion's share, there were elements of the 1st Cavalry Division, 36th Infantry Division (Texas National Guard) and Special Ops. Let's not forget them. Can't wait to see it

The entire order of battle can be found here

Thank you David

Thank you David Bossie...if this is the same David Bossie I am thinking it is from way back during the Clinton administration...you are one hard working, determined patriot...plus thanks for Thompson also for the narration.

My gratitude to the military at all times.

I can't wait...

to get a chance to see this.  Thanks to all our military for being there for us.  Will the MSM give this any play, in a positive way?  Wainting to see.

I can't wait to see it

I can't wait to see it either nofate...and of course the msm with the exception of Fox aren't going to mention this unless it is in a derogatory way.

Unfortunately, I expect them to trash it in some way, either directly or some snide, smarmy putdown within a "news" piece.  I hope for better, won't be surprised to see worse.

MSM? What about Congress?

MSM? What about Congress? I'm waiting on an announcement from Murtha saying something like
"See? The Marines were murderers even back then." Or for Reed to say
"Gee, I thought they lost that battle, along with the war". Or Clinton to surmise
"You have to have a willing suspension of disbelief if you even think that battle took place".

And will our history books mention it? I heard on Fox & Friends a couple
weeks back that a full page has been dedicated to Cindy Shaheen in
a recent history book. I wonder how our forces are going to be described?

"I heard on Fox & Friends a couple weeks back that a full page has been dedicated to Cindy Shaheen in a recent history book."

I'd like to see more about that.  Anyone have any references to that quote, page, textbook?  Amazing.  The real heroes are suffering for us and this fool camps out at Crawford and makes it into a history book so little sponges can soak up the brilliance of Cindy.  Unbelievable.  But, believable considering the source.
