Amy Zimmerman recently wrote an article for the Daily Beast on the “Right-Wing War on Lena Dunham.”  Somehow this article landed in the Politics section of the liberal news website.  If anything, it should be an opinion piece since Zimmerman chooses to brush off undisputed facts over an alleged rape as well as written passages in Dunham’s book Not that Kind of Girl where she basically describes the molestation of her little sister.

Zimmerman claims that “right wingers obsessively document and chastise her every move.”  I beg to differ.  Those of us who write about Ms. Dunham aren’t obsessed with her, rather, we do what the mainstream media does not – we write about her hypocrisy and lies.

On Friday's World News Tonight, ABC's David Muir avoided mentioning the critics as he reported on the Obama administration removing Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism. Instead, Muir spotlighted how "President Obama [told] us back in December his plans to restore diplomatic ties with the Cuban government," and that during a January 2015 visit to the island country, "the children of Cuba [told] us they want to visit America."

Friday's Morning Edition on NPR did its best to try to promote the liberal cause of expanding Medicaid in Texas. Wade Goodwyn lined up six soundbites from pro-expansion talking heads, versus only two from former Texas Governor Rick Perry, an opponent. Goodwyn played up that "in hating the Affordable Care Act, the state is leaving on the table as much as a hundred billion dollars of federal money over ten years – money that would pay for health insurance for more than a million of its working poor."

CNBC Washington correspondent Richard Harwood and the co-hosts of CNBC’s Squawk Box briefly discussed during Friday’s show the age difference between Hillary Clinton and Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio that included Harwood knocking Rubio for “look[ing] like a schoolboy” compared to Clinton.

If Christianity is the subject, TIME gives a crap … literally.

This Friday, TIME published a story about a 1996 painting of the Madonna by contemporary British artist Chris Ofili. ‘The Holy Virgin Mary’ is encrusted with elephant dung and surrounded by cutouts of female genitalia from porn magazines. It’s a degrading, insulting portrayal. Naturally, TIME published a color photo of it.

The socialists at Salon.com are desperately responding to the creepy Bernie Sanders 1972 article about male and female rape fantasies. It’s satire, you haters! Katie McDonough explains“It’s an attempted critique of heteronormativity — a clumsy and weird-as-hell attempted critique of heteronormativity.”

Sanders is apparently excused for this gaffe by his record of supporting anti-rape bills, apparently unlike conservative Sanders critics, who couldn't possibly be anti-rape.

One famous Hollywood celebrity is sharing his American pride – in a touching dad-to-son kind of way. 

For Memorial Day, actor Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World), taught his 2-year-old son Jack the Pledge of Allegiance – and captured the moment on camera. The May 27 Facebook video, with almost 2 million views and more than 85,000 likes, shows the two saying the pledge in front of the American flag.
