NYT's Maureen Dowd Tackles Brutal Limbaugh, Santorum's 'Medieval' View of Women

New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd made the front of the Sunday Review describing how she once had her feelings hurt by Rush Limbaugh, who is drawing liberal fire by calling leftist birth-control activist Sandra Fluke a "slut" on his radio show (he has since apologized): "Have You No Shame, Rush?" Also: Rick Santorum has a "medieval" view of women.

As a woman who has been viciously slashed by Rush Limbaugh, I can tell you, it’s no fun.

At first you think, if he objects to the substance of what you’re saying, why can’t he just object to the substance of what you’re saying? Why go after you in the most personal and humiliating way?

Then, once you accept the fact that he has become the puppet master of the Republican Party by stirring bloodlust (earning enough to bribe Elton John to play at his fourth wedding), you still cringe at the thought that your mom might hear the ugly things he said.

Now he’s brutalizing a poised, wholesome-looking 30-year-old Georgetown law student as a “slut,” “a prostitute” and “round-heeled” simply for testifying to lawmakers about wanting the school to amend its health insurance to cover contraception.

Dowd herself is no stranger to viciously slashing Limbaugh in print.

She used the Limbaugh controversy to attack more Republicans on social issues.

Only a last-minute media glare caused Virginia’s Republican governor, Bob McDonnell, and its Republican-led Legislature to modify a shockingly punitive law aiming to shame and in many cases penetrate women seeking abortions. The version that passed on Thursday is still harsh enough to damage McDonnell’s vice presidential prospects.

Rick Santorum, whose views on women are medieval, said “an entertainer can be absurd.” Speaker John Boehner offered a tepid comment through a spokesman that Limbaugh’s words were “inappropriate.”

Right. This stupid cow is just another attention-whore who gets to vomit her bile in front of a TV audience. If Rush said anything negative about her, it was justified. If you really are concerned about being mistreated you should have complained when Ed Schult called Laura Ingraham a slut and not one of you left-wing harpies came to her defense. Give it a rest idiot.

Conservatives should realize that the game the left is playing here is purely one of total distraction. The Left so badly wants to ease the pain of the truth in being caught out on the real debate on the issue here which is actually the first amendment and not contraception.
The rule of thumb for a conservative is simply not to allow or any digression from the Left to take hold, but instead be concentrated and industrious on focusing on the real issues and keep reminding the left of them over and over, and call loudly for having them brought to the debate table instead of the nonsense they wish to provide.

In short forget about the bait and switch gutter tactics of the liberals and demand a debate on the real issues by enumerating them over and over tirelessly until we get just that...a debate on the real issues which no liberal can withstand or possibly ever win.
Can you imagine what this election cycle would look like when we don't do this?
Instead of honesty and clarity on the issues we will only have more tricks and smoke and mirrors as we have seen in the recent past coming from the Liberal media during the GOP primary debates.
Whomever wins the GOP primary must have our full support and feedback in order that we arm ourselves against a multitude of oppositions who would see our country cast into an abyss of tyranny.
You saw it when Gingrich foiled an attempt by the media during one of these debates to digress in order to cover up any real issues by focusing on the candidate personally, instead of being fair and speaking to the issues the impact the whole of America.

Like the proverbial cat fight in the alley in the middle of the night, don't even bother to get out of bed to throw your shoe at them, as the next morning you will only have to go out and retrieve that shoe and it will definitely be covered in mud and Cat excrement.

Instead take the vital approach by closing off the channels of propaganda and instead studying the real problems with our nation , learn exactly who caused them and why , and speak of them by name and ask the left for redress in their reasoning by arguing the fallacy of the policies and actions of their leaders who subscribe to statism .

And don’t daunt when it comes to addressing their complaint. Just get mean and confront them with every true fact you know and when that isn’t enough investigate further and confront them again and again.

Our nation is at stake, our Children are at stake...our freedom and liberty is at stake …..do not tread lightly on these issues , do not ignore them as the left would have you do by deflecting them with disruption and misdirection, Instead arm yourselves with facts , and proceed ahead into battle , for this is war .and in all wars it’s either we defeat them , or we will be defeated .

You mean this cow is still alive and people are actually paying her for being stupid? She hasn't done anything close to important in a decade, I thought she gave up and went back to the farm and tried to find employment that she was capable of doing.

Well a far left liberal will always stay where the money is, she has now had her 5 minutes of fame and can return to the barn for another decade.

Isn't she the hate-filled liberal who made fun of Candidate Obama's ears? So hateful was it that candidate Obama confronted Ms. Dowd on her lack of basic human respect.

But did President Bush call candidate Obama to console him for Ms. Dowd's vicious personal attack? NOOOOOO!
