Big 3 Censor Small Business Confidence CRASHING After Election Results

December 1st, 2020 1:30 PM

The ABC, CBS and NBC evening news shows are trying to insulate former Vice President Joe Biden from bad news that could undermine confidence in his leftist economic agenda.

Small business confidence fell to an “all-time low” after traditional media sources and Big Tech declared the election for Biden, according to a November 10 - November 17 Q4 CNBC|SurveyMonkey Small Business Survey cited by CNBC November 30. The survey, which interviewed 2,200 small business owners nationally, yielded a confidence index of 48. This means that “Main Street’s outlook is now below where it was during the second quarter of this year (49) when lockdowns across the nation were increasing amid the first wave of Covid-19.”

Fifty-three percent of those surveyed said that “they expect tax policy to have a negative impact on their business in the next 12 months.” Forty-nine percent said that “government regulation will have a negative impact.” Furthermore, the survey found that a majority (55 percent) of small business owners believe Biden would be “bad for small business.”

These results are an indictment on the expected effects Biden’s atrocious economic plans of high taxation and regulation will have on the U.S. economy if implemented. But, like the good liberal networks they are, ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News all ignored reporting the story during their Nov. 30 broadcasts last night.

Typical. The Big Three have shifted from censoring good news in President Donald Trump’s economy over the year to censoring news that’s politically damaging to Biden’s economic agenda.

CNBC provided more context on why the survey’s latest readings on the expectations of tax policy and regulation in the next year are so revealing:

By party affiliation, the divide is stark. Among Republicans, 75% said tax policy will be a negative and 72% said regulations will be a negative. Those numbers drop to 15% (taxes) and 11% (regulations) among Democrats. These are the highest percentages recorded for the ‘negative impact’ response in the four years of the survey [emphasis added].

As SurveyMonkey research science manager Laura Wronski summarized:

‘The immediate shift in forward-looking sentiment that small business owners reported following the election reveals how deeply politics has become embedded in the public’s assessment of the economy, and in particular how divided the country is.'

The results of the survey are very damaging to Biden’s agenda, and the Big Three — with impunity — made sure their viewers didn’t hear anything about it.

Conservatives are under attack. Contact ABC News (818-460-7477), CBS News (212-975-3247) and NBC News (212- 664-6192) and demand they report the news and stop spinning the economic news.
