Bozell Statement on Olbermann Firing
Editor's Note: The following is a brief statement released by NewsBusters publisher and Media Research Center (MRC) president Brent Bozell earlier today regarding MSNBC firing Keith Olbermann.
It couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. Olbermann was a failure because he was vicious, insulting and off-the-charts liberal. And they replaced him with Lawrence O'Donnell, who is Olbermann but without talent. It is absolutely guaranteed that MSNBC will sink even lower. This network is clueless.

Are you kidding me? Talent at what?
Talent

Talent at taking other people's excellent work (like Rush Limbaugh), taking it out of context and using it to whip people into a frenzy.
Just sayin'

"vicious, insulting and off-the-charts liberal". Heh.
And, when MessNBC gets rid of one chancre, what do they do? They double down on stupid, and move O'Donnell into that time slot.
I love that quote

Yeah, and with his perspective, the team that won actually lost. Then, he'll try to convince everyone that he's right. And, if he can't do that, then it will have been Bush's fault. He might even try to get Matthews to deliver color commentary, and Maddow to interview the players afterward. Gotta keep the team together.

This is a great opportunity for Olbermann to get the help he needs, I'm sure there's a hospital out there that specializes in mental health.
I honestly think he does need help

I know there is the phrase that "liberalism is a mental disorder" Not sure if I agree, but at the very least it seems like a coping mechanism for neurotic people.

stong a position on Michael Savage. You can't argue with the fact that liberalism is all about looking outwards and not inwards. Liberals will always find a way to validate their own behavior, but blame the outside world for all their ills or for the suffering of those around them. Like this people can't think to lift a finger and help out in their own communities.
What is self reflection like for a liberal? I think the picture of olbermann clutching to his diplomma is pretty telling.
Assuming the reports are true
Submitted by Beukeboom on Mon, 01/24/2011 - 12:57pm.
Assuming the reports are true that the decision (whether outright firing, resignation or mutual separation) was made before Comcast took control, it is reasonable to assume that the schedule lineup was made by the same people and Comcast didn't create it. Now assuming that, it makes sense to me that those left in charge who know their days are numbered didn't care what the lineup was just so they filled the 60 minutes where Olbermann was with something. I anticipate that once Comcast is fully in control and managing things, the lineup will drastically change.

O'Donnell IS a ticking time bomb. He's one bad day away from being the guy in the clock tower.
God help us if the new bosses try to force this lunatic to play nice with guests. Something this psychopath cannot even manage with his fellow liberal / socialist douchebags, let alone conservative thinkers.

They replaced one nutjob with another. Mental illness runs high at MSNBC. Look at Chris Matthews...
As mentally unstable as Keith Olbermann is, he's the vision of sanity compared to O'Donnell...that man is a psychopath, and I think, dangerous to himself and others. He and Keith could be roomies in the asylum.

Finally a comment on Olbermann's departure that befits him.
Here is a man that publicly called for other news anchors, politicians etc.. to be fired.
And when they were let go by their networks(John Gibson, Rick Sanchez, Dan Abram, Tucker Carlson etc..) Keith celebrated and gloated about it on his show. Keith made fun of these and others losing their jobs in this tough economic time.
So why should we be diplomatic when talking about this man?
Keith killed a station and change political TV for the worse.
Sure he'll be back but for now it's nice to know that the Jerry Springer of night time political TV is gone.

Off subject due to the fact that it is so obvious that bathtub boy is a lieing sack of cenk...but Jane Fonda is a communist traitor who chose to exploit her celebrity for a bunch of American POW torturing animals bent on taking over the world. She and bathtub boy are very representative of the liberals whose chosen mission is to support anything that opposes our American heritage and supports communism.

Here in Germany where Armed Forces TV plays in food courts, bowling alleys, etc on the military bases, Olbermann's show was on right before O'Reilly's. This was done in order to prevent the appearance of favoritism toward one side. Still, whenever you saw people watching his show, normally their reactions were incredulous, or angry about his inane and inflammatory comments. He has few fans in the Armed Forces, I think.
