CBS's Whitaker Forwards New Mexican President Blaming U.S. for Guns in Mexico
On Monday's CBS Evening News, correspondent Bill Whitaker seemed to allude to a debunked statistic that most guns that go to Mexican drug cartels originate in the United States as he repeated accusations by the newly elected Mexican president's party that the U.S. is the "exporter of guns fueling the violence" in the drug wars. Whitaker:
There also will be no mincing of words when he meets with U.S. officials. Pena Nieto's party says the U.S. is the consumer of the drug trafficked through Mexico, the exporter of guns fueling the violence here. Pena Nieto is likely to be tougher, pushing American leaders to do more north of the border to curb the use of drugs and the smuggling of guns.
But, as previously documented by NewsBusters, Fox News in April 2009 reported that almost 90 percent of weapons used by the cartels come from countries other than the U.S., such as China and Russia.

Even though Fast&Furious has been exposed as the purposefully created crisis to help the administration push for tougher gun restrictions in the United States, their "partners" in Mexico are continuing with their roles.
Using the left's favorite tactics of exageration and flat out lying, they will still try and pin the blame on the US.
I say lets give them the answer they don't want. Lets build the fence and control the border.

Ya forgot to include the deliberate manufacture of evidence to bolster their cause, which was the sole purpose of F&F and the other gun walking operations along our Southern border.
Recall the "I just want you to know that we are working on it. We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar." comment by "o"boy to Sarah Brady.

Is that Romney is not opposed to the general idea.
Part of the UN's Agenda 21 is to make civilian ownership and purchase of ammunition illegal around the world. This is where the anti-gun lobby is concentrating their efforts now. Allowing the ownership of weapons, but not ammunition to use those weapons.

Hitlery will sign the treaty next week. Get organized to oppose this anticonstitutional treaty as well as repeal Obamacare, abortion funding. It is up to the Teavangelicals to save this republic from the tyranny of communist liberal ideology. The fact that they and their media lapdogs are working so hard to deflect and suppress these facts speaks to how afraid they are of voter reaction. Time to go to war.

Since Holder described Fast & Furious as a screwed-up operation, has the President ever publicly apologized to the government of Mexico for putting 1500 firearms into the hands of the drug cartels? Has Holder or Obama explained to the government of Mexico how a Federal law enforcement operation involving gunwalking into Mexico was blessed without the knowledge of the Mexican government?
And the absence of serious inquiry by the MSM remains shocking.

As usual, the libs turn it around. It's not that Mexico imports guns and exports drugs. It's that we consume the drugs they export, and have guns that they can blame for thier corruption and incompetance. Notice there's no mention of the Mexican military arms ending up in the hands of the cartels. And no mention of the INTENTIONAL arming of the cartels by the Obambi administration leading to the deaths of hundreds, if not more, of Mexican citizens.
It's like getting into an auto accident. You get rear-ended at a stoplight, but it's your fault, because if you hadn't been there, there wouldn't have been a car in that particular place to get rear-ended.
They've done it with contraception - conservatives are "at war" against women's health, when conservatives just don't want to pay for someone else's sexual proclivity. We're "at war" against immigrants, when it's ILLEGAL ALIENS we want to stop. No republican has ever, to my knowledge, stated that they want to stop IMMIGRATION. Conservatives want the "wild west" with guns, yet libs are the ones that coddle criminals who use guns illegally. And the list goes on.
If anyone can figure out twisted logic like this, let me know how you do it...

....and just like politicians everywhere, he's going to pin the tail on the most convenient and expedient party possible....in this case, us.
If we'd SECURE THE BORDER, and crack down on illegals, and particularly the mules that import the illegals and drugs, we could lock down about 90% of this. Of course, the Mexican pol has a problem with the people part of the equation....he'd like open borders to offload his poor masses. He can't have it both ways, but you'll never hear THAT!
The other thing you need to understand about Mexico is that the cartels are absolutely ruthless. They'll murder everyone and anyone to achieve their goals, including politicians at all levels. It's going to take a concerted effort, which will probably require our military assistance (special forces) because of the corruption within the Mexican Army (their Marines, however, are pretty much not corruptable). This probably won't happen without some savvy people at State....which more or less means never, the U.S. State Department is a dumping ground for inbred patricians, liberals, and other dilettantes.
It took decades to wipe out the nest of thieves and murderers in Columbia, and Mexico's problem is no different....except their country is larger and they share a huge border with us.

Here's a politician, who's being directly paid by the cartels, while crying about the violence his cartel causes. You can just see and hear ObamaTax and WithHolder in the Whitehouse...I mean "HIS" house,
