ABC Recounts Accusations of Pope Covering Up Evidence in Missing Child Case
On Monday's Good Morning America, as ABC's Jeffrey Kofman recounted the news that Pope Benedict XVI's butler has been arrested, implicated in leaking Vatican documents to the media, the ABC correspondent asserted that the Pope's "seven-year papacy has been consumed by very public scandals," and then recounted a group of demonstrators who recently accused the Pope of "covering up evidence" in the case of a 15-year-old girl who went missing in 1983. Kofman:
Conspiracy and intrigue are nothing new to the Vatican. But Benedict's seven-year papacy has been consumed by very public scandals. On Sunday, the Pope faced demonstrators accusing him of covering up evidence in the mysterious 1983 disappearance of the young daughter of a Vatican employee, thought to be buried in the tomb of a mafia don.

Is this ABC News' attempt to warn the RCC that coverage will get uglier if it insists on pursing the Obamacare lawsuits?
I'm sure the WH approves.

Goebbels' Principles

Goebbels would be just so proud of this reporter. He follows the former's propaganda principles to the letter. The picture (now confirmed by this video) that I have seen published of the so called protest against the "disappearance of the young daughter of a Vatican employee", (no evidence or proof of any involvement) consisted of a "very tight" take of about half a dozen youngish people holding up placards at the very fringe of a large audience attending the Sunday Papal Noon "Angelus" prayer and blessing. So the usual liberal press style: disregard the thousands and focus on the few at the fringe. Actual evidence of involvement is irrelevant. Insert segments of a film in a news item for emphasis to add to the smear The classic "smear by inference".
PS. Godwin's Law does NOT apply when the comparison fits perfectly. Godwin's Law is designed to protect Progressives from such apt comparisons. If the cap fits.........!
