MSNBC's Alter Warns of Anti-Obama 'Hate Ads' Paid for by Billionaires
As if there were not liberal billionaires able to spend money trashing Republicans and promoting President Obama's reelection, MSNBC analyst Jonathan Alter -- formerly of Newsweek -- fretted on Tuesday that billionaires would run what he referred to as "hate ads" against President obama right before the election.
After The Ed Show host Ed Schultz complained that the GOP emphasis on "voter ID [laws] is all about voter suppression," Alter made his prediction about billionaires running ads against Obama. Alter:
I sense a little bit of cockiness now in conversation with Democrats. They think, oh, yes, you know, we got this. We`re going to have the better candidate. They`re going to have the weaker candidate. I would caution them against it. As someone who has covered a lot of elections.
And the billionaires who can pour in literally hundreds of millions of dollars, and because they will buy ads that are more expensive, the television stations will give the billionaires doing the hate ads against Obama, they will get all the big air time just before the election, which is going to be a big factor.

Of course they will! That's

Of course they will! That's why Obama needs $1billion and his own SuperPAC.
They're making him do it!
This is the same "Public funding for thee but not for me" guy from 2008.
It looks like "staggering hypocrisy" is going to be my phrase of the day.
Yep

It's the mark of his extraordinary lack of a sense of leadership. While condemning the Citizens United ruling as a threat to democracy, he embraces Super PACs because the opposition uses it.
Obama's most damaging characteristic is a total ignorance of the role of a leader.
On the Ed show, right?

That was the Alter Ego discussing the Alter-Ed Reality of political punditry with an Alternative version of intelligence and perspicacity.

The first question should be has this man ever worked for an news organization that had any credibility?
His resume would be readily accepted into the Mr. Geobbels propaganda ministry of the 1930's and he would not have to change his stories or byline. His reports rarely include anything like facts or evidence of his statements and on the very rare occations that they do the are twisted beyond recogniztion. He has no personal credibility and is a devote follower and defender of the liberal agenda without asking questions. His propaganda rarely if ever is aimed at the corruption within the liberal organization or media.
I support a stiff tax

I support a stiff tax increase so their rate would be 75% on all people whose income comes from entertainment or copyright income from entertainment income. I also support a requirement that all movie theaters be equipped with solar panels and that they cannot raise ticket prices to pay for it. I also think that all junk food sales in movie theaters be banned and replaced with healthy fruits and vegetables and diary products at no charge to patrons. That industry is fat and they can afford it.
How is that for doing Obama type mandates and imperial orders. He seems to think it is OK for insurance companies. If it is good for insurance companies and power plants why not the movie industry and movie theaters?
Duh, ID

host Ed Schultz complained that new voter ID laws would amount to "voter suppression,"
How do these people with no ID cash a check? Use a credit card, get welfare & bennies, buy smoke and last and even more important...buy booze? Are they suppressed then?
They have "LifeLock" and other ID security services
Submitted by CO2Maker on Wed, 02/15/2012 - 11:44am.
Why not "VoteLock"? Protect your precious voter ID from theft! Make sure your vote's value isn't watered down or defeated by a rise in "dead people voting"! Keep your franchise yours. Don't let the fraudsters, gangsters, and oak-seed people [think about it] steal your basic Constitutional right as an American to have your vote fully count!

Voter suppression?
How else are we going to make sure the 2 MILLION dead people who are still on the voter rools will not vote?
Or the 3 MILLION that are registered in multiple places don't vote in multiple places?
My bad, I am using logic and facts.
A Soros ad is just a gentle reminder that the Republican is simply mistaken, a good soul who has just lost his way........................
Again, an ad against Obysmal - HATEFUL and yep, RACIST.
anti republican ads are ok?
Submitted by ohio granny on Wed, 02/15/2012 - 10:52am.
I guess that means that any anti republican ad is okay? It is okay to tar and feather them with lies? Oh, right, republicans are sleazy and uncouth while the democRats are high minded and squeaky clean and above reproach.
I guess these people pushing the democRat mantra must live in the big rock candy mountain region because they live in fantasy land. !!!!!
Why are there never any faces to these claims?

I've never seen a single incident where a specific person could stand up and say that they were "not allowed" to cast a vote. If that person did exist, and they were denied the vote, I would grant them the opportunity to vote; and if it decided or changed the results (even a year into a term) I'd say let the real winner assume the office; even late... Truth is, it isn't about voter suppression by Republicans; it's about voter fraud by the Democrats who can't win unless the dead vote multiple times from multiple locations...

... a "hate ad" is any ad that portrays Barack Obama accurately. Let's see Alter come back and show us specific examples of hate ads paid for by billionaires.

This means that, in the tradition of the left accusing the right, the left is planning on doing the exact same thing they are accusing the right of doing. It's a smoke screen to justify their own mean and evil behavior. Create a strawman, and then burn it down.
To more fully comprehend the Left, one must read “Leftism As Psychopathy” by John Ray, M.A., Ph.D. Caution, it might scare you a little bit.

Hate ads against Obama

Really Jonathan? - I thought it was called negative advertising in political campaigns. Lefty Alter is just playing the race card. When the Obama campaign, its PACs and unions run negative advertising against the Republican nominee, I'm sure Alter will consider the ads as journalism warning of the doom to America if Obama isn't reelected - NOT HATRED.

Never mind the Media Matters Hit pieces aired on M.S.S.R. (M-BS-NBC) that are bought and paid for by George Soros. You know, the guy that pulls Obama's strings.
