Al Hunt and Mark Shields Repeat Disputed Story of Gingrich Divorcing Cancer Stricken Wife
Last Friday saw two high-profile liberal pundits - one on Bloomberg News's Political Capital and the other on PBS's Inside Washington - repeating the story that Newt Gingrich divorced his first wife while she was being treated for cancer, without either of them noting that one of Gingrich's daughters - Jackie Gingrich Cushman - last May specifically disputed the account that her mother, who is still alive, ever had cancer, or that her father initiated the divorce during a hospital visit.
On Bloomberg News's Political Capital show, host Al Hunt only vaguely noted that Gingrich's daughter had disputed some of the commonly believed details of her parents' divorce as he dismissed her account as "demonstrably false." After Bloomberg News columnist Margaret Carlson called the former House Speaker a "lout," Hunt asserted:
He left his first wife when she had cancer, she took him to court for lack of child support. This is all public record. He had a six-year affair while he was Speaker with a young House staffer. He left his second wife when she had MS. And he sent his daughter out to tell a demonstrably false story about his first marriage. Now, all that amounts up to more than a lout, doesn't it, Margaret?
On the same day's Inside Washington on PBS, regular panel member Shields recounted the story without any mention that it is disputed, as he cracked:
He did not mention the fact that his wife - who in sort of a sad interview with (ABC's) Brian Ross - acknowledged that she had just told him she had Multiple Sclerosis. This is not a man you want to tell that you have a health problem, based upon his first divorce when his wife had cancer, and let's pray that Callista gets a very positive report from Mayo clinic.

"It was the spring of 1980. I was 13 years old, and we were about to leave Fairfax, Va., and drive to Carrollton, Ga., for the summer. My parents told my sister and me that they were getting a divorce as our family of four sat around the kitchen table of our ranch home.
Soon afterward, my mom, sister and I got into our light-blue Chevrolet Impala and drove back to Carrollton.
Later that summer, Mom went to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta for surgery to remove a tumor. While she was there, Dad took my sister and me to see her.
It is this visit that has turned into the infamous hospital visit about which many untruths have been told. I won't repeat them. You can look them up online if you are interested in untruths. But here's what happened:.."
There is no possible way to disprove this. However, it's remarkable they took the time to look at this without bothering to lift a finger to vet Obama.
The Enemedia is gearing up to do their worst. The question is, if the internet is enough to counter their outrageous lies. If it is, we can defund PBS and Big Bird can take the air time of these Commies.

After the showings at the debates, is there any doubt that the msm, the leftists, and the establishment rinos fear the only man with the stones to take them all on... and beat them?
We the people NEED a candidate like Newt Gingrich?
We need someone with a fire in their belly.
Newt has just such a fire.
Think about this, here we have a man who could skate through the rest of his life and live pretty good. He could retire from politics, spend time with his family and take the vacations he's missed serving America.
Speaker Gingrich is not taking the easy way out because he sees, first hand, how far this great nation has fallen because of the failed policies of this administration and the Alinsky politics they seem eager to play.
Newt has put it all on the line, not for any personal kudos, but because, with all of his faults, he understands that it's going to take someone who isn't afraid of the personal attacks, isn't afraid to get his hands dirty, and most of all, can punch with the best of them to beat the Axelrod machine.
I believe if Romney had a set, he could beat Newt, but alas, Romney is but another northeast liberal.
Oh, Romney might talk the talk, but he has yet to show me that he is willing and able to walk the walk, Newt has no such problem.
We the people are at a time in America that I've not seen in my 65 years. Up is down, right is wrong, left is right, good is bad, well, you all know what has been fostered on America in the last three years. The question is simple, are we the people, the former silent majority, going to allow a minority to continue to DICTATE to the rest of Americans what we can eat, drink, smoke? Will we remain silent while the minority, (sometimes less than 1% of the population), gets in our faces and demands that we can't build something on our own land? That we can't utilize the resources available to us to break the strangle hold the Muslim hoards have over us? that we can no longer speak the word God in public discourse.
We have allowed those who were sent to Washington DC to speak in our stead to turn a blind eye to all the ner-do-wells who demand that we tote their line. The career politicians, who trade their vote like so many baseball cards regardless of the effects they have on us. These so-called congressmen and women are supposed to speak for us, instead they lie to us, steal from us, and make fools of us daily. When one of these parasites get caught, they circle the wagons and go into full spin mode, and we the people loose, again.
People, we need a street fighter, not a diplomat, because that's what it's going to take to stand up against the Axelrod war machine, and it's coming for sure.

Al Hunt and Mark Shields, upon hearing the Obama's are planning on having a ritual clitoridectomy performed on each of their daughters:
Hunt: You've heard the Obama's are having a specially trained physician in this Friday to perform what many say is a wonderful, just awe inspiring, 'coming of age' ritual, similar to a 'sweet 16' party, on their two beautiful daughters?
Shields: Yes, yes, they, the Obama's, they are really getting back, ummm, back to their roots, so to speak, and embracing a real, uhhh, really culturally diverse attitude, this should reflect well around the world. This should show the world, once again, that the Obama's aren't just your average American dullards sitting there in the White House. (laughs) Unlike a few years ago. (chuckle)
Hunt: (laughs) Yes Mark, the Obama's continue to forge a new path in opening America's eyes to new ways of thinking and doing things. The nasty, errr, negative Republicans are going to have a hard time topping this one, and, of course, any naysaying about this will just prove, once again, how narrow minded and bigoted the Republicans truly are. I bet there won't be a dry eye in the house, the White House, come Friday night.

Are they talking about Edwards? What did Edward's wife have when he divorced her? Who was he paying child support payments too, clandestinely I may add? And who's name is STILL not mentioned in regards to the above two situations?
You know, I'm sick and tired of these type of "journalistic," if that's what you want to call it, "one-upmanships" that media keeps hammering upon our heads. They all act like a bunch of spoiled brats, constantly trying to get attention with their latest "scandal" or their latest" controversy." The entire industry has become continual tabloidism, for the sake of tabloidism, no less!

let's see, Newt's daughter, who was there and jerk off lamestream media people looking to do a hit and she was demonstrably false. How stupid do they think we are? Was Chelsea ever asked about Bubba's playing around or how she felt when it was discovered? Would she be demonstrably false?
