Pardon our cynicism, but we were mindly curious if the people who attended MoveOn.org's national "We Are One", "Respect Our Rights", "Keep the Dream Alive" rally in Washington, D.C. on April 4, 2011 really knew what they were protesting about?

They need a boogeyman

They need to have a villian / boogeyman to direct people's anger against. It seems that they don't care if it's a real one or a made up one just as long as it's well publicized.
I especially liked the bussing in of Canadian machinists who were taking a Union "class" on lobbying. They gave them a sign and told them exactly what it was all about. The only thing that they didn't do is make all of those sheeple wear bells around their necks.

I watched about 10 minutes, and was certainly "amused". I know it takes some effort, but this video could be whittled down and captioned (and linked to the full 15 minutes as a reference) for greater effect.
So, if the Koch brothers are so "anti-worker", why weren't Koch employees joining the protest?

That is just so 1960's. Some one just staged a "rally" in Grand Rapids, a "spontaneous" rally, with preprinted signs. And at least 11 attendees. They were protesting the loss of Social Security benefits. The reporterette tried to talk to one of the protesters, and all I could make out was, "they're stealing our benefits". I'm not sure, but seeing the AAFSCME brand on the bottom of the signs, I'd bet they hate anyone who won't keep the gravy train running.
