What a waste of resources and time. Not a brain, collectively.

I produced this same format earlier this year for Notable Quotables with not one mention of the intelligence of the near all-male lineup. These ladies are very intelligent conservative women. Choose your words carefully.

1. I have no clue who this Katy Perry is, and absolutely no interest in knowing. (I just turned 30, by the way, so don't dismiss that as some cranky old lady grousing about "kids these days") Grown women discussing some pop culture skank and her lousy music makes them appear vapid.
2. Never showing them all at the same time makes it look like a bunch of separate interviews rather than a group of friends discussing a topic. It feels impersonal, especially since two of them never look at the camera. Having them interact solely with someone off-screen that you can't even hear gives the viewer the impression of eavesdropping on a series of phone conversations.
3. The set is too dark, and the lighting too harsh. They look like they're in a techno bar, and they're not dressed for a techno bar.
4. I'm sorry, but they didn't say anything particularly interesting. If they were sitting at a table and, say, had a screen behind them that video clips of the topic they're discussing could be shown on, there might be some chemistry between them and some cohesiveness to the message.
Don't shoot the messenger.
