AP: It's Not Selling Aborted Unborn Baby Parts, It's the 'Disposition of Fetal Remains'

We've long known that the Associated Press is loath to refer to unborn children as unborn children, preferring the clinical term "fetus." But in covering a shocking new story about how Planned Parenthood sells fetal tissue from aborted babies for profit, the AP bent over backwards to use clinical euphemisms to soften the blow of the ghoulish practice.

Here's how the newswire's David Crary opened his 9:54 p.m. EDT story about the video released Tuesday by the Center for Medical Progress: 

 

NEW YORK (AP) — Anti-abortion activists on Tuesday released an undercover video showing a senior Planned Parenthood official discussing the disposition of parts from aborted fetuses.

The activists contended the video reveals illegalities, but Planned Parenthood said the activity in question was the legal, not-for-profit donation of fetal tissue to research firms.
