Durring a protest against the Arizona immigration law and for open borders, ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis was arrested. Apparently she believes in purposely breaking the law in order to advocate for those that purposely break U.S. immigration laws.
In prepared remarks he gave to the European Union, Vice President Joe Biden advocated for Brussels to be considered the capital of the free world. Is European Exceptionalism becoming an official policy of the Obama administration?:
In Missouri, a high school student was assigned Michael Moore's documentary "Sicko" to analyze for 50% of her grade in her senior Literature and Composition class. Perhaps more shocking is that the teacher who assigned the movie also denounced the same student in front of the class as a "teabagger".
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) has grown tired of a media double standard on politicians who use "combative tones" and made sure the reporter demonstrating the double standard knew it. Watch as Christie slams the reporter:
A California middle school and state university both apparently find extreme environmentalist indoctrination to be worthy of expending taxpayer dollars. Jehue Middle School and California State University at San Bernardio were both involved in the making and promotion of a video called "Environmental Police Agency" which features middle schoolers going around tackling and arresting "non-environmentalists" for crimes like having a refrigerator, leaving computer screens on, and throwing away a soda can. At the end they caution that drastic times call for drastic measures so we should institute this kind of green police state to save the world.
It seems radical environmentalists aren't satisfied with their current level of alarmist rhetoric so they're kicking it up a notch. Now they are launching a new campaign against something they call "ecocide":
Ever since the passage of Arizona's new immigration law, the Left has been attacking anything associated with the state. MSNBC's Keith Olbermann continued the trend by going after Arizona's major league baseball team for what he claims is a lack of diversity.
Just a week after the last time a California school told its students that the American flag was somehow racist, another California school repeated the lesson. This time a middle school student was taught that drawing an American flag was wrong. However, drawing a picture of President Obama was apparently praise worthy:
Earlier this week at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California, several students were told to remove their shirts because they featured the U.S. flag. Apparently Live Oak thought that wearing the American flag on May 5 – Cinco de Mayo -- was disrespectful to Hispanic students.
One of the most important leaders of the progressive movement was speaking at a labor meeting back in 2009 where he made some outrageous claims. First he said that basically, unless you have skills, the only way to reach the middle class is by joining a union. He then went on to claim that unions are the greatest anti-poverty and pro-trade programs.

Back during the Bush administration Keith Olbermann made sure to insist that "we must not confuse dissent with disloyalty" and that "conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law". But that standard seems to have fallen by the wayside now that the dissenters are conservative Tea Partiers.
"Our intelligence analysts and our military folks tell us that environment factors, exactly -- environmental factors determine who we’re going to be fighting, where we’re going to fighting them, whether we’re going to be fighting them," said Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.). "And so for me, for my colleagues, climate change is a national security issue."
During a speech to the winter conference of the Young Democratic Socialists the site Verum Serum found that ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis praised socialism and attacked conservatives. She even goes so far as to say that today's political atmosphere is worse than McCarthyism, the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II, and Jim Crow segregation:
During the tax day TEA Party rally in Washington, D.C., Eyeblast.tv's Stephen Gutowski interviewed some suspicious characters with outlandish signs. Despite their best attempts to conceal their smirks these three clearly come off as TEA Party crashers:
The funny folks at Narf Tv noticed the Obama administration and its liberal allies have done a poor job explaining just how great ObamaCare is. So they decided to make a commercial to give them a little help.
During a question and answer time after a speech at Harvard University, Andrew Breitbart confronted AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka about claims that TEA Party members hurled racial slurs at black members of Congress. Trumka then preceded to claim that he personally saw members of the TEA Party spitting on people and hurling racial slurs:
When President Obama was asked recently whether or not it is wise to raise taxes through ObamaCare when we are already overtaxed, he rambled on for 16 minutes, making it clear he had no answer to the question:
