NAACP Executive Caught on Tape Lying About Tea Party Attendance

By Bob Parks | July 17, 2010 | 06:45

A  A

On 7/13/10, Hilary Shelton (Senior Vice President for Advocacy for the NAACP) said he's never been to a Tea Party because he was 'afraid to go'.

On 7/16/10, Hilary Shelton said he was at the health care reform Tea Party rally to monitor. Which is it?

The Fox News Channel is the only cable news outlet that's given any kind of significant attention to the New Black Panthers controversy, as well as the Tea Party smear attempt by the NAACP.

FNC Producer Commits Suicide; Left Classless

By Bob Parks | July 07, 2010 | 13:44

A  A
A young woman’s mother dies recently, she jumps off a cliff in an apparent suicide, and she just happened to work for the Fox News Channel. What do you think the left would have to say about this?

Julianna Rolle, a 39 year-old former Fox News producer, was found dead at the bottom of a 100-foot cliff last weekend in her hometown of Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Authorities now say she jumped to her death.

While many of Gawker’s readers displayed the appropriate sentiments, some of the tolerant, compassionate liberals predictably showed their true colors.

Dear other Fox News employees: Julianna Rolle is a shining example for you all.

Will Kagan Do A Sotomayor?

By Bob Parks | June 29, 2010 | 19:09

A  A

Supreme Court Justice nominee Sonia Sotomayor came off as a 2nd Amendment defender when she was being questioned during her confirmation hearings. She voted the other way when a gun rights case came to The Court.

Can we now trust Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan?

Milwaukee Dem: Arizona Is 'a Ways Removed from the Border'

While calling for a boycott of the Grand Canyon State, Peggy West, member of the Democrat Executive Committee of Milwaukee, decided the whole Arizona anti-illegal immigration thingy is a bad idea since Arizona isn't close to Mexico....

The Mount Vernon Statement

By Bob Parks | June 20, 2010 | 10:07

A  A

In light of the challenges facing the country and the need for clarity in the age of Obama, The Mount Vernon Statement, modeled on the Sharon Statement issued on Sept. 11, 1960, is a defining statement of conservative beliefs, values and principles penned by a broad coalition of conservative leaders representing a wide spectrum of the movement including fiscal, social, cultural and national security conservatives.

Newsweek's Reed: Obama 'Out of His Cotton-Picking Mind'

By Bob Parks | June 18, 2010 | 08:14

A  A
The left's strategy is clear: any opposition to President Obama is not driven by ideological and/or political disagreement. No, it's driven by racism and whole groups of people have been strategically tarnished.

You would think these people would be even more careful, then again the majority of people making racist statements against the president these days seems to be coming from the left....

He said I know this is going to be — lead to some, quote, difficulty for the guys who work on those rigs.
Well, if he thinks that some guys on the rigs are the only people that are going to be affected by a six-month oil moratorium, he’s out of his cotton-picking mind. — Julia Reed, Newsweek senior editor on CNN on Anderson Cooper 360, June 16.
Whoops. While we all know what Obama supporters would be shreiking had this been said by a Republican, watch how quickly this dies down when coming from one of their own.

Congrats To Arianna On Her 'Best' Webby!

By Bob Parks | June 11, 2010 | 13:47

A  A
One has to give credit where credit is due. The Huffington Post is 2010's 'People's Voice Winner for Best Political Blog' and Arianna Huffington will receive her Webby Monday night in New York City. We are in awe of her humility...
'I need to decide what this year's speech should be, and would love your input. Submit your five-word speech in the comments section. We'll publish the best ones on Monday... and if I end up using yours Monday night, you'll get a signed copy of my new book, Third World America, as soon as it is published in September.
'Okay, HuffPosters... start your creative engines!' --- Arianna Huffington, Help, I Need a Five-Word Speech for the Webby Awards!

One can only be judged in this business by the accolades of one's peers, and here's a taste of the acknowledgments of those who admire the non-partisan, tolerant, inclusive Huffington Post most.

I Want My Effin’ MTV: The Video

By Bob Parks | June 07, 2010 | 17:55

A  A

Hollywood prides itself on being all cutting edge and hip. At the same time, some celebrities openly admit to not exposing their own kids to what they expose ours to...
Madonna once confessed that she’s the disciplinarian in the family, forbidding her children from watching TV at all, which she called “trash.”
Sunday night's 2010 MTV Movie Awards would probably qualify.

Sarah Silverman, Let It Go...

By Bob Parks | June 02, 2010 | 19:16

A  A

Progressives are so good at weeding out racists in our midst, they feel obligated to share with us the words used. However, should liberals be called out when they use racial slurs, they lose their minds.

Case in point: Sarah Silverman used a slur and was called on it. She continues to smear conservatives as racists and the fact SHE was criticized for use of racial slurs is something poor Sarah just won't let go of.

Blitzer Tried His Best to Hide Calderon Hypocrisy

By Bob Parks | May 20, 2010 | 14:59

On Wednesday's The Situation Room, Wolf Blitzer gave Mexican President Felipe Calderon every chance possible to refute the argument that sneaking into Mexico from the south is much more perilous than Mexicans stealing into Arizona.

KPHO: Altered Video, Altered Message

By Bob Parks | May 11, 2010 | 10:11

A  A

A former Vietnam veteran wanted the American people to know just how easy it was for illegal aliens to enter our southern border, so he set up cameras along the route and posted the video on his website. Many people came to his website, borderinvasionpics.com (BIP), including the local CBS affiliate in Phoenix, KPHO. The affiliate was obviously so impressed with what they saw, they downloaded and used some of the video in a sympathetic piece on illegal aliens.

May Day Immigration Protests: The Other Side of 'Mostly Peaceful'

By Bob Parks | May 02, 2010 | 18:13

A  A
Funny how this went unnoticed by the broadcast media....
A large group of protesters demonstrating at a May Day rally for worker's and immigrant rights downtown broke off into a riot vandalizing about a dozen businesses around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Many in the group were carrying makeshift torches as they marched, breaking storefront windows and writing 'anarchist graffiti' on buildings, according to Capt. Steve Clark. Many businesses sustained multiple broken windows including very large storefront windows at Urban Outfitters and The Rittenhouse building. Police believe at least 15 businesses suffered damage.

Now we all know that the slightest amount of liberal violence equals 'mostly peaceful' in the media style book, but we also know what the reporting would be like if we weren't talking about illegal aliens and the anarchist offspring of the far left.

So, 'Voicemails Expose Left's Racism'... Where's The MSM Been All This Time?

By Bob Parks | April 11, 2010 | 10:11

A  A

When I read Monica Crowley's piece on Big Government, I must admit to being thoroughly disgusted.

Not because she posted racial-slur laden voicemails sent to Dr. Christopher Metzler, Associate Dean of Continuing Studies at Georgetown University because of his opposition to ObamaCare. No, I am disgusted because for years the mainstream media has invited black conservatives on their radio and television programs to be an opposing voice to the black liberals who are often sought as the voice of black America. We've told them (off the record) of the response we normally get after our appearances.

We know what the headlines would read if something were said to annoy Al Sharpton. But it took racist phonecalls to a dean to invoke outrage.

I know many other black conservatives have endured the racial slurs from the left for decades, and the media has never had our backs.

Opinion: Dan Rather, From Buckwheats to Watermelons

By Bob Parks | March 09, 2010 | 12:12

A  A
My boss, Brent Bozell, told me that (in his opinion) Dan Rather is not a racist, but let's not consider his recent faux pas about Barack Obama and his failure to get the health care bill passed as an isolated incident.

It was not.

On Sunday, March 7th, Dan Rather said the following about the president…
"Listen he's a nice person, he's very articulate…"
When Rather got to "articulate", I knew we had trouble brewing.
"… this is what's been used against him, but he couldn't sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic."
