Words are all we have to help us.  All this careless talk I hear about debating semantics and people forget that someday their very life could depend on a single word or turn of phrase.

I read the Bible a lot.  I have a theological library bequeathed to me by my late minister which I use for reference. 

I'm glad I'm nearly over the first half of my life.  No really.  Imagine living through a John Irving movie, only with less death.  Yeah.  Very-very happy things are beginning to calm down.

My hobbies include: 

- Raising AKC Shih Tzus.
- Collecting G.I. Joes (over 400 at last count)
- Blogging, reading medical and theology books/magazines. 
- and of course, beating dead horses.
