I'm an Electrical Engineer, worked for three rather high-profile defense/aerospace contractors over the past 25yrs.  Am currently employed at a pro sound equipment mfr surrounded by a bunch of self-proclaimed liberal "hippies".  Am a registered conservative (yes, in NY state there is a Conservative Party!).  Avid animal lover (4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 cockatiel, 1 grey parrot) and reader.  Favorite mags include the American Spectator, Human Events, and the Washington Times NWE.  Occasional letter writer to AmSpec Online.
