Wow, I'm now 44 and living in Prince William County, VA.  The two kids are getting big and just recently found out that in addition to the Down Syndrome, my daughter also was recently diagnosed with autism.  So, this will be an interesting year and fighting for her best interests in school.  Our little son is still funny but now is in karate and in soccer. He likes having some kids in the neighborhood to play with for a change. 

I married my husband, Michael, in 2000.  We met on Match.com and I found him.  We met in February and eloped on July 7 with a big wedding at the Chapel of the Centurion, Fort Monroe, VA, on December 2.  He is approximately 5.75 years younger than I am and I am on my first marriage, can't say the same for him but when you get hoodwinked at 20 by a foreigner who brings her entire family into the country and then scrams, while that's not my fault. 

We have two wonderful little children.  Mary Catherine is nearly 4 and is a special needs child.  John Paul Makana is nearly 3 and is the best thing about Hawaii as we adopted the little gift-Makana out here when he was 18 months.  Can you tell that I am a Catholic??

 My husband will be heading back to Iraq again soon.  Should be interesting again.
