Ryan Goldsmith is a compassionate conservative and a professional Soldier with 16 years of active service in America’s Army.  He is a Sergeant First Class in the Military Police Corps and has completed two combat tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.   Raised in rural Wyoming, Ryan understood at an early age the meaning of small government, state’s rights and the enormous importance of the Bill of Rights, particularly the first and second amendments.  He has a immense interest in politics.  His hobbies include recreational boating, farming and compelling any local ombudsman or editor to admit their news coverage was biased.  Ryan has been married to his wife Chrissi for thirteen years and they have four children ranging in age from twelve to one.  Ryan was twice voted Time magazine “Person of the Year” (2003, 2006) and is aggressively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Southwestern University.
