I am a ROF whose sole plan is to run out of money just as I die. I am a social liberal who believes in a strong national defense. My most shameful polticial act was votingfor Jimmy Carter, but I have never voted for another Dedmocrat since that fateful day in 1976. Trick me once, etc., etc. I blog for the fun of it and for what I learn through reading other views and, sometimes spirited debate.

TalkLeft is a decidedly Leftie blog but accepts views and comments that disagree with the majority. I currently comment under "jimakappj," but also commented under "ppjakajim" and "Poker Player" in the past. The changes were at the request of the blog owner due to spam being generated by the reference to poker.
