I’ve discovered as I observe the media intent
To rewrite my history, force me to repent.
For I use to think this Country was once bless’d.
To fight tyranny, slavery and other conquest.
To have a Lady with a torch reached high
To offer this opportunity of freedom’s pie
My arrogance for thinking the years of blood spilt.
Whenever and wherever the enemy’s rage whipped.
Now I’ve learned that my pride is the sparks.
For all the world’s ills and terrorist’s remarks.
I seek each day to work my best.
To fulfill my job and pass each test.
To recompense my bills and my taxes pay.
For I thought this was the American way.
Now to see death knocking at my parent’s door.
After years of working, only to become poor.
While I see others who don’t give a heck.
Not working a day, never drawing a paycheck.
Now I’m the minority for my religion they say.
For believing that He IS the Only Way?
I’m a mad man now, is how it’s spun.
All because I legally own a gun.
I disagree with someone’s failed policy.
And I’m a racist and I owe an apology?
Because of socialism’s massive schemes,
Each day I see the shattered dreams.
There’s more profit in keeping folks blind.
Yet I’m the one they say, is unkind.
Our foundation is fading as a mark in the sand,
