Nathan Burchfiel joined the staff of CMI as assistant editor in 2010, after most recently serving as a writer for the Media Research Center, CMI’s parent organization. He has previously served as a Capitol Hill reporter for Cybercast News Service, and assistant editor for CMI’s sister organization, the Business & Media Institute, where he authored the Special Report “America 2012,” among other reports. Burchfiel earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Maryland College Park’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism. He is a native and current resident of Northern Virginia.
