Mitchell J. NewDelman January, 2007 Mitchell J. NewDelman (65) is an American citizen. DOB 26 October 1942; Chicago Legal career: Member of the Bar: State of Illinois (1965), Arizona (1969) and District of Columbia (1977); in good standing "inactive/retired" status. University of Chicago Law School (J.D. 1965); & European History (B.A.) at DePaul University in Chicago. Practiced law with Chicago based firm, Ross and Hardies (1965-68) and as International Counsel within corporate staff of Motorola Inc. (1968-72). During the last two years with Motorola (1972-74), Mr. NewDelman held an executive position within Motorola’s Office of Multinational Operations. Mr. NewDelman taught part-time at Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management (1970-72) and at University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business (1972-74). The course was "Legal Aspects of International Trade and Investment". Government Service: From 1974 to 1976, Mr. NewDelman completed a U.S. government assignment as Director of Liaison with the Private Sector for the Executive Office of the President, Office of Special Representative for Trade Negotiations (“STR”), the White House, Washington, D.C. creating the first “Sector Advisory Committees” for Industry, Labor and Agriculture and the “Trade Policy Advisory Committees”. “Top Secret” security clearance and Diplomatic (FSR-2) passport were issued to Mr. NewDelman. Board member (1976-80) “Congressional Institute on the Future” (a non-profit legislative support organization). Business Career: From 1976 to 1980, created and then sold a print media placement company. Since 1980 Mr. NewDelman has been an investment banker. Among other transactions completed were the sale of a U.S. publicly listed company to a British public company on behalf of the majority holding family; facilitating a US venture capital “energy focus” fund for EDF and British Gas known as UVCC II managed by Arête Venture Management; and, international start-up investing. Since 1989, Mr. NewDelman has been involved principally in innovative funding mechanisms. Retired Chairman and CEO (1983 to June 2008) of a small “incubator” project development and investment company, Infinex International Ltd.
