Over 40 years ago I asked my grandpa what "freedom" meant.  As he doulbed up his fist and smiled, he said, "freedom means you can swing as hard as you like. . . but your freedom ends at the tip of the other guy's nose."  And I've been a "porcupine" Libertarian ever since.  It's live and let live, just as long as I don't get rubbed the wrong way.

Never served but honor those who do, like my son and two nephews who together have served five tours in Iraq so far. 

Not religious, but I hope those who read this and are will pray for our troops and our nation.

Especially now that my son is in Afghanistan and nephew is in Iraq. As of June 2011, we are sweating out our families sixth and seventh tours in the combat zone (all are combat MOS).
