I am just a dumb ass truck driver, I rode the short bus to a rual shcool where I graduated in the top 95 percent of my class. I have been traveling America for the last 13 years and have met every kind of American you can think of and many people who are here from other lands, some legal, some illegally. Politically, I am a moderately liberal conservative, I think people should be elected because of their ability to steer our country along the path of prosperity with a minimum of government intrusion upon the Constitutional rights of ALL Americans, not because of what party they belong to.

I long for the day when the far left and the far right understand that there are more of us in the middle, politically than there are of them combined, AND that the business of government is to protect and guide, not to tax and spend. In other words, yes we can all get along, and until we do, things are only going to get worse for all of us.
