I grew up with people like you.

I post comments on this website for one reason: to give a different view. Sometimes I write well, sometimes I write poorly. I do not speak in statistics or citations. I see no need to cite common sense or personal experience. Sometimes I speak from my gut.

I do not respond to comments directed at me. I am a "troll." I put in my two cents and then leave. It is not arrogance. It is not cowardice. I simply do not give a damn about what people here think about me. Besides, I already know what you're going to say - you people always say the same, stupid things.

It's not that I think I'm always right; it's just that you are always wrong.

The main thing I feel a need to speak out against on this website is bigotry. Growing up white in Indiana, I, too, thought racism was dead. It is not - it is alive and well on NewsBusters, among other places.

I visit this website for the same reason a person picks at a scab; it hurts, it's gross - but it's entertaining and enlightening. By visiting this website, I get an insight into the way people think, the arguments people like you use to support your bigoted, stupid policies and beliefs in life.

I prefer this website over other conservative websites because of its simplicity. Redstate.com, for example, has no hold on me. While it does have its share of raving lunatics, the essays hosted on Redstate are coherent and intelligent - often way over my head. Here, however, blog entires are quick and vapid, filled with conservative talking points and propaganda. Above all, the commenters here are raving fanatics, spouting repeated propaganda from their frothing mouths.

Finally, I enjoy this website because it is itself a representation of the absurdity of conservativism: the liberal media bias does not exist - it is a myth perpetrated by the right-wing in order to convince the public that the media cannot be trusted. In other words, this entire website is a big Kool-Aid fest.

And it amuses me.

And disgusts me.

But above all it amuses me.
