Retired Law Enforcement Officer, Air Force Veteran.  I'm married to another Law Enforcement Officer, and we have 4 children.

I worked as an investigator out of headquarters, and have significant knowledge of facility security, police policy and procedure, use of force, tactics.  I was in charge of reviewing all new pending legislation that impacted my department.  I was the lead investigator of in-custody deaths.  I was in charge of new technologies, i.e.; CCTV, surveillance devices. I designed and implemented a video conference system between the county courthouses, and custody facilities, which reduced the number of inmates that had to be transported to court facilities. This allowed Public Defenders, Probation Officers, and DA's to interview suspect inmates without having to travel to the separate jail facilities.   I also sat on 4 county committees, dealing with video, internet, and public access.

I'm a holder of the Exemplary Service medal, and the Meritorious Service medal, as well as a member of the "Million Dollar Club" in my savings to the Department and Taxpayers.
