Profile

Main interests are good discourse and bad golf. I am ex-Navy after 27 years, a physician, and conservative (about five degrees to the right of Genghis Khan). I am also middle aged (53), male, and white.  I am happy enough about the latter, but didn't chose them. I am also a Christian, though choice for that lies elsewhere.

    I post occasionally at Knowledge is Power, Caption This, Whizbang, Little Green Footballs, Tim Blair, and The Anti-idiotarian Rottweiler, though not  often as the people there (and here) are very bright and I don't want to waste bandwidth or other people's time.
