About Me

Profile

Okay, if you are checking my information, you are trying to determine if I'm a troll... lol.... So here is a little about the person that I am. I choose life, and did so twice, about two decades ago. I am married to a hard working man who thinks it is his responsibility to provide for our well-being, not the government's.

I thought I would explain the name I chose... I thought I'd relay to people that I am an American, first and foremost.

I don't think of myself as a conservative. I am not really sure what I would be categorized as. I am in no way, shape, nor form a liberal. I feel they are trying to turn America into a Socialist society.

I have never really equated myself with any political party. I vote based on my beliefs of who is the person best able to represent me.

I believe war is a terrible thing. But, unfortunately, as history has proven time and again, it is neccessary at times.

I hate abortion! It is murder, pure and simple.  Best alternative would be for the women to give birth to the babies and put them up for adoption, as there are so many people who want children but are unable to conceive. I used to have people ask me, in forums,  who will support the unwanted children if they didn't have abortions. My suggestion of putting them up for adoption was never an alternative in the Pro-choice people's minds. I stopped fighting them on the subject, as only their views were acceptable. Mine, well... I was labeled part of the VRWC... lol...

I believe Saddam should have been removed from power long before he was. The UN sat back and watched that horrible man kill so many of his own people. Their resolutions did nothing but empower him. He knew they were impotent, and it freed him to do his will on those poor people for so long.

I believe George Bush won both times. Fair and square. I think the Swift Boat vets had every right to speak against Kerry. We are founded on freedom of speech, after all.

I think the Dixie Chicks(who? lol ), Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, and all the rest of Hollyweird are free to spew their hate all they want. We, as fellow Americans, are free to say what we will about their opinions. Our voicing of our outrage against their hate-speak is not infringing on their freedom of speech. We merely enjoy the same rights that they do. We also have the right not to watch any movie or presentation that they appear in. I continually exercise that right, sometimes to the non-pleasure of my husband.  So many movies that he has wanted to watch, I voiced my opinion and distaste, and he abided by my wishes. He is a good man...  :-)

Sorry to bore you... but you chose to check me out, so it is your own fault...  :-)
