Patriotic American who strongly believes in personal accountabiliy, hard work and the right to keep and bare arms. Politically, I am an independent. I grew up on Staten Island NY, but I moved west when David Dinkins was mayor because I felt the city was unsafe--and getting worse. I have been very impressed with many of the posts included in NewsBusters. I often read about things that I see no where else. I also can appreciate your efforts to prevent so-called "throlls" from polluting the discussion with taunts and name calling.  NewsBusters gives me a lot to think about and I would occasionally enter a comment. (admittedly I don't spend a lot of time on line)

  I'm over 50 and still believe in ink on paper.  I do not post comments because most sites are just willnilly name calling and hatred. Yours seems to draw people with a bit more intellect. I do visit a few sites, mostly Drudge Report for breaking news and ESPN for sports. Then of course there the site for my beloved NY Mets. Also, I read the NY Post on line a few times a week as I am unable to find it where I live (Woodland Hills, CA). For the most part I use my computer to keep in touch with my family and get track of news events.
